Right. I usually get so upset at the pagent episodes cause its like they aren't going on stage, they're going to get married. They're family tend to forget that. Then with the pagent coaches there ugh. But I'm happy mom took off her pagent hat and just saw her baby girl becoming a bride.

@@QuayHollywood Yes, it's as though they're looking at the wrong person entirely, isn't it? Pageant coaches also tend to dominate the style conversations, but the woman with Ashley's crew was very tactful, I thought. The mother has an unusually expressive face. When she doesn't like something, oh boy, does it show -- and she doesn't look very attractive. When she smiles, though, she's beautiful! A smile improves anyone's looks, but this mom almost looks like two different people.

We're all creatures of habit, and I think pageant moms all have to come to the realization that this isn't a pageant where their daughter is competing with 50 other glittery girls. It's a wedding where only SHE'S allowed to wear white, where she will naturally shine even without a bunch of gems and sequins.

Absolutely. And there also is definitely a way that you can say, “If you’re happy I’m happy” and have it be genuine and sincere, just like here. I feel like so often those words are used as a flippant, “whatever, if you’re happy I’m happy” kind of phrase. Glad to see the healthy relationships on show here 😊

It was $5600 ish as is. Nothing clever spending huge money on one wear dress. It's a vacuous ego trip to even compete in those dresses for adults. I was surprised she didn't want over the top vulgar, like her mother wanted.

There are tons of YT videos about the lying that goes on on these so-called "reality" shows, and how the producers command people to play up or play down certain emotions, etc., as they feel the viewers would respond best to. It's all hype for ratings, nothing more. Just a bunch of lies, and the bridal shows, and the house shows are the absolutely most controlled lies of all the shows.

I have no idea about all this pageant stuff but having see pageant things on here the people running it have no clue about fashion ! They like tacky and yuk dresses and other outfits 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

She’s not her mother or as close to her, so she HAS to be nicer.

Follow up edit: Wonderful family, so supportive. Dress? Pageant on top, mess on bottom. Hope she ended up wearing something completely different, as so frequently happens in these instances.
