My mother passed yesterday into this summer land of bliss, where God is its light... What a glorious sight it must be, and what inexpressible eternal joy! To God be the glory forever!
This is a new recording of one that's been on the channel for four years now. The old one was sang as I've usually heard it, with swung eighth notes. I decided to record it as written since swung eighth notes likely didn't exist in 1876. ( : Also, the quality of this one is much higher than the previous one so I'll eventually delete the older recording. Hope y'all enjoy!
Your harmonies are excellent and encouraging in their unadulterated worship of Jesus Christ and the hope he brings to the Christian life. May you be blessed richly for your efforts in his kingdom. This is the type of worship needed most desperately in the Church that Christ purchased with his blood.
This was just beautiful!! I haven’t heard this in a long time. It’s been a while and I miss this song. It was just gorgeous. Thank you so much!! ❤️😊 we use to sing this in church.
Glad you enjoyed! If y'all don't sing ones like this any more, be sure to let your eldership and/or worship leaders know. Great songs like this should not be forgotten!

@@abhishek6043 - I don't know that I would be able to effectively teach anyone through a comment section on RU-vid or even email. What are you wanting to learn specifically?
Huh... so at my congregation we sing many of the double eighth notes as dotted eighth / sixteenths. Never really payed attention to the music on this one. I think I actually like the dotted eighth sixteenths. Gives the song a bit more pep. Great song! Thanks Elliot!
Can you do these hymns thy word / the blood will never loose its power / higher ground/ ill shall not be moved / there is hope in the name of the lord .
Please check the guidelines for requesting in the video descriptions. I can probably add a couple of those to the list. But there are others that are likely copyrighted and a couple I don't know.
It depends on usage. If they are needed for congregational use, the price is often free. But no matter what, email me at the email address found on the 'about' tab of the main channel page. Give me details on who will be using it and how it will be used. Thanks!
