surely you can understand where he's coming from though? vh 1.18 is just so much better than the 1.16 version so of course he's not going to feel motivated to play it. anyone else in his position would have made the exact same decision, because in the end its his life and he should do what he enjoys the most

I do love sky vaults; however, the immense diversity that Terralith introduces, I feel with the >70 some-odd extra biomes, exploring, and dedicating things to each - or even a few - is a huge chance for content and farming, and lets you do more on a massive scale with these mods.

Isn't that literally the point of Sky maps? To make it a lot harder? To where you have to really put in some work to get even the smaller things a whole world would provide? It doesn't limit content in anyway it just changes what type of content you'd be making.

I would love to see diversity. Iskall already plays normal terrain on the server so maybe a little change would be interesting to see and wouldn't be repetitive for him to play.

I think normal terrain would be nice for season 2, when you started this series a couple thousand blocks around were vanilla so we didn't see you go through the molded biomes, plus it would add a challenge to find non-modded items for the alter

Terralith uses 100% vanilla blocks (its a datapack) so it wouldnt add any new stuff, just make the world look fancier. But I also vote for Normal Terrain, cause i just prefer it

Was getting bored with vanilla and I'm really excited for 1.18 VH but will do my first vaults in 1.16 because less stress on messing up since I'll do 1.18 once it drops. I remember how I'd sit back and relax with a pack of Ruffles back 9-10 months ago when the series started. It brought me a lot of joy and entertainment, I'm kind of sad it ends here. But all things must end at some point in order for newer things to pop up. Hate to see this series end. One of the highlights of my days were seeing a VH video pop up in my subscriptions tab. But onward and upwards. Can’t wait too see 1.18 pop up in a few weeks from now. It’s a well deserved break for all your hard work. Better content then anywhere else on RU-vid. Also, sky vault sounds fun cause of the increase in vault runs but I think I still wanna see you play in a normal world. Maybe after you crush that we can see a sky vault world! Edit: managed to mess up more spelling then is excusable

I watched basically the whole VHSMP season 2 on Twitch, and I am so invested. This series has been a blast, and I love how it introduced even more people to vault hunters. The timing of the update was unfortunate for this series, ending it this way was somewhat inevitable. @@chadsmom5179 true, but in 1.16 you were doomed to fail if you didn't watch youtube playthroughs or weren't on the discord. 1.18 is fully playable without relying on external factors, even though playing along with someone is very helpful, the fact that you don't *need* to is a massive W for this version

I would say the sky version just to make it different from the SMP. If people want to watch the regular version, they can watch the vods from your second channel which you could plug into the first episode of season 2

I vote normal terrain generation. Sky block isn't how I play vault hunters, and it is nice to get tips for how to play from watching you. I'm glad there will be a season 2. Thank you for this series. I have watched the beginning episodes so much I can quote them. It has gotten me through some pretty tough times this year by bringing a source of joy and comfort. I really like how tutorial-like this series was because it VH is a very daunting modpack and it really helped to have a clear explanation of everything in bite sized pieces. i watched a few VH livestreams before and it was really enjoyable. however, seeing it develop from the start and your incredible explanation helped tremendously. i never played modded minecraft but i actually gained some knowledge just by watching you use those mods. i just love seeing something really complicated and overwhelming turn into understandable and interesting narrative. you have done an extraordinary job and i don't know how it could have been better. i love the hermitcraft videos don't get me wrong but this VH series has to take the crown. if hermitcraft videos are like the warm, crispy crust but soft inside sourdough bread then this VH series is fresh croissant or german doughnut. you can't go wrong with the bread and it's amazing but the latter is so good. it's a different taste and does it taste good. i hope my weird feedback isn't too weird. cheers

Thanks Iskall, this has been a great series. Loving 1.18 SMP so far. I can only permit you to start season 2 in a normal terrain if you don't build underground. Otherwise, thou shalt be banished to the sky island!!

My vote is definitely normal terralith generation. I assume that a lot of people, such as myself, use your series as kind of a "how-to" for Vault Hunters, or to see what kinds of things are available. I mean some of the more technical stuff, like maybe what y-level vault rocks are found at now, where chromatic iron is found (deepslate only?), talk about vault stone, stuff like that. Stuff that's important to know but not necessarily right away. Also stuff like what mods are unlocked right away, what mods are NO LONGER unlocked right away (such as easy villagers?), etc. Didn't know about the in-game guidebook though, that's good to know

I think the sky mode would be really fun and different. Since you are already doing a Terralith run on streams a sky series would feel new and also allow you to balance it as you go.

I would love to see a sky vault hunter series because I want to keep up with your VH SMP and there would be a lot of overlap for me as a viewer and you as a player!

I'm glad you're doing an updated season 2 - as for world preference, put me down for normal terrain, but honestly, I'm going to watch and enjoy either way. You and your team appear to have done amazing things from the little time I've been able to spend in streams
