This is an action packed episode. Great drone video of the grain legs going up and then you let us take a ride on the swather as it turned. I think that's what you called it that thing laying the barley down and then what really made my heart Happy is it you're taking extra care not to pack the cattle in to that holding area since there are a few extras in there.I'm glad it worked out good for you as well. Thank you so much you're very hardworking family. God bless you all 💪🏽🙏💖🐝
Jan, you are such a hard working family and I really appreciate it every time I have a meal! I am from the Ottawa area you do such a good job keeping Canada eating well. Thanks to all of you. 🇨🇦❤️👍
Jan you do such a great job explaining what is going on at the family dairy farm. Your family and work hands should be very proud of the farm. From the cows, the equipment, the barns, the crops, and now the elevator it is a class A operation! Looking good with the scruff. Thanks for bringing us along!
how fabulous all the equipment you have to feed and take care of the cows looks if you saw the corrales that are here in Mexico!!!! it is a sadness everything very careless !!!!congratulations to your father for having everything so clean and tidy and congratulations to your family in general
Wonderful video and drone shots!! The investments that your family are putting into your operations last year and this year will have huge implications on your business in years to come! Very smart business choices.😊
alot of times with our barley it'll get lodged so we usually put crop lifters which helps. For barley that wont get cut for silage or bailed as straw we grow a variety called orianna. Orianna is a great variety, good yeilding, it wont grow taller than your knees so you dont haev to worry about lodging. Cheers from Alberta have a good harvest
Jan awesome video. Great improvement to the farm. Shows how big your getting when you need to make big changes like that. If your impressed with the changes your Dad must feel really proud to have a family like yours who work hard for each other! Great job👍👍👍👍👍
I was thinking that the staggering of the platforms on the small leg, plus having 4 areas would give it a bit more rapidity so it may sway less when running or breezy day. All looking good 👍👍
Nice camera shots of the Mac Don. I cringed a couple of times, that's normally a place you don't want to be. Nice hammermill setup. It's MUCH bigger than I thought it would be. I hope you have a lot of quarters for those new laundry machines.;)
I feel sorry for the person who has to climb up the wire tied tower....it will sway, more than you think! Long-term not the best solution for anyone. I'm not convinced it's a safe solution.
Amazing photo work Jan. Nicely engineered as well. You have quite an installation there. This will be a big help for your management of the feed. You have a wonderful eye for spectacular photo set-up. Beautiful photography.
Great video!! Love seeing how they install those tall towers. Speaking of towers, will you be installing lightning rods to them for safety purposes? Just asking ...
Always excellent content & presentation. The drone footage was impresive and rather close to the c. Well dlone ane and workers. Great camera angles, as usual, during the swarthing 🚜 🚜 🚜🐄🐄🐄🐄 🚜 🚜🚜
Pro-tip: with grain legs like that get a plastic weatherproof box and fill it with a grease gun, box of grease, spare belts, jug of oil for the gearbox, a set of wrenches and a set of sockets that have all the sizes that you need to do all the maintenance and adjustments on the leg. Place that box on the service platform of the head, ideally when the crane is on site and can hoist it for you.
Great video, great content, unbelievable camera shots, how did you do the one on the swatherwhere it goes around in a circle? Good work. Thanks for sharing with us!!!!!
Great video glad your farm operation is growing and doing well. Great family team plus all the good people on your staff. All that and you the Cherry on top.
Your Dad’s vision is slowing becoming a reality. Hopefully those towers will be connected to a ground grid for lightning protection. It looks like they did carry a bond on the down guy past the mount on the side of the machine shed. I was in a metal building once when lightning struck the tower beside it. The ground legs connected to the steel structure made it look like a big flash went off and the sound was deafening.
wow Jan, your farm looks like a fabrik other than a farm, all those sillos hehehe oke i now it is not treu,i love to see the farm work you are doing, great video again, thanks for showing.👍💪i love your drone work.
Great Content and NEW Equipment is always a plus Jan... I'm digging them rosy glasses 😎 Oil and other fluids should only be checked at operating temperatures btw... Great Video and Drone shots...
Your work on this video was great Jan. What I’d like to know is you must obviously get a lunch break, but would you customarily get another break during the day? There’s so much that you all do during the day. Does someone manage your schedule, or do you all just have specific days of the week you have chores scheduled for the week?
Very cool video Jan. Nice haircut. Looks like heavy barley. Do you lose much barley processing it that way? That washer/dryer should last a good long time. Those things are ALMOST indestructible.
Great video!! Just a word of caution: keep an eye on the work your contractors are doing on the bin site. Cole the CornStar ended up in court after the contractors messed a bunch of stuff up. When they get done with all of it, make sure it all works the way it should WHILE it is handling grain. Cole's set up worked great, until it was filled with grain; then nothing worked. Wish you the absolute best!!
Yeah that's something you don't get to see everyday. I hope you are putting some the pictures and videos someplace so you can look back at them in 20 or so years. Not so much the big things but the little thing with family that change a little bit every day that you don't notice until one day you go when did this happen. On a side note did you right down the type of oil on the cap for next time or next person
Great video....as usual 😁..you don't get tornadoes there do you?? That was my first thought when I saw the towers.....here in the States I don't know if that would work.. who gets to work on the motor????😋
