A quick video to show the benefit of putting the bilge discharge in front of your knee - where you can see it if it fires off. Can be done without removing the front locker, BUT a whole lot easier if you do remove that locker!
Absolutely up front where you can see it. Most people have no clue that a bilge pump will not keep it from sinking...never has been for that purpose on any boat. It's a indicator you have a problem and if you can't see it you won't know until it's too late.
