I used to drink Gatorade up till about 18ish yrs ago, although I could only drank one flavor because of the coloring added. They stopped making that flavor (grape "rain" - which had very little coloring in it). Now it's a no-go for me. If I drink it, my guts get really upset. Nothing to do with electrolytes - just the coloring.
And the fructose syrup I’m sure if you drank pedialyte you’d feel better than Gatorade as I did whenever I cut weight for wrestling I hated the way Gatorade makes me feel it’s gross and bad for you
@Jack Pease That's Cool!! I remember a pink "rain" as well, but it was too sweet. Still, Ya could SEE through it because it had less coloring!! That's why i could stomach it. I remember when it was discontinued. I went around buying all I could, & I ran out around 3 months after it was gone from the shelves. I'd GLADLY pay $10 for one right now!! -LOL!! Peace!!
@BAN Only once (YEARS ago), but I can't say for sure the cause because I was in Mexico at the time. But I HAD drank a DARK Reddish colored Gatorade (some weird fruit flavor) the night B4. It WAS Gatorade, but I'm sure it was MADE in Mexico. I was also a bit plugged up. It freaked me out, & I drank no more, & it didn't happen again. I have not drank any dark colored ones (Any Really) HERE for SO LONG. I'll say this: In the end, it didn't make it that far!! If I drank it, it would cause me gut pains & come back up! IDK if any of that helps you - but if that is happening to You, I'd say STOP (#1) & tell your doctor. Could be a problem. Peace!!
Precisely backwards about Gatorade. Gatorade has barely any electrolytes. If you drank Gatorade all day you wouldn't piss out any excess electrolytes because you would have consumed almost nothing.
