I haven't said the pledge of allegiance since kindergarten, b/c I never believed in God. When my teachers noticed I wasn't saying it, they lost their minds. "You have to say it! It means you love America! You can't not say the *pledge of allegiance*!" So I would stand and mouth it w/o saying it. And you know what happened? Nothing. B/c it doesn't matter. Its *words* and talk is cheap. Then along comes Kaepernick, and everyone loses their mind the same way over the same nothing. And everyone's losing their minds, ranting about this jerkoff who won't say the sacred PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. People getting angry about it at work. People threatening violence towards their fellow countryman. Hypocrites. I fully support Kaepernick's protest. And as an aside, I find it hilarious that people are losing their minds over it because it reminds me of *kindergarten*. If you really love America, then show respect and kindness - aka love - to your fellow countrymen. Because all the bullies stand and say the pledge - as do all the corrupt politicians and CEO's who work their workers to death. They all say the meaningless pledge of allegiance. And when its done, they get right back to abusing their countrymen.

I get what his protest was about, and I have no problem with anyone wanting to have that conversation. There are a ton of problems in the world that need addressed. My only issue is that there is almost nothing left that has not been infected by politics. Hollywood is full of shit and themselves, our sports or getting ruined by political crap, and an athletic clothing company with many of their own political skeletons really should just stay the hell out of the insanity. I mean, everything is so polarized that as soon as you express an opinion you essentially pick a side and alienate half the damn country.
