Ironic how Rodney made a career out of nobody giving him any respect; yet, even after all these years, he gets nothing but respect.

Rodney Dangerfield made it as a comic, he was so grateful he ran his own club to jump start a new generation of comics. He gave back when he made it unlike some living comedians who buy cars and steal the headliner acts away from fresh talent. True respect to the business even if he didn't get any himself.

This is a man that built a comedy club for the sole purpose to help other comedians rise to fame! He always gave and never asked anything in return. He once said, and I am paraphrasing: "The laughs I receive from you guys are great but it would be really great that after I walk of the stage, I get one of these (making an OK sign with his hand)". All he wanted was to make people be happy and enjoy his comedy. A truly great comedian and person.

Rodney Dangerfield one of the truly great comics, could keep you laughing for an hour straight, and didnt need notes or profanity, not once did I ever hear him use the F bomb in a joke, saw him in Vegas in 80s.

Rodney cared about so many other comedians. He helped those who came after him. He gave them the break he didn't get until his second time around the comedy circuit. Thank you, Rodney. You are so missed!!!
