"people,kid who SEE DEAD PEOPLE"...so hilarious, meanwhile "I see dead people..." in one of the greatest movie quotes in AFI, ranked #44 (around that rank maybe) and the part "you see things that aren't there, LIKE BRUCE WILLIS WITH HAIR,YOU'RE IN THE SIXTH SENSE...."the melody combined with that line,really cracking me, real best host, BILLY CRYSTAL.

@@JAPelicano1 I remember as a kid re watching the recording on tape. I taped this and the year before where he hosted with Titanic winning. I reacted all his jokes and monologues lol. Every time Billy Cyrstal hosted the oscars my mom taped it knowing he was something special and it will be entertaining. I miss him as host. Oscars have gone down hill.

Amazing, Billy Crystal is a legend. Hosting is no easy, he has to memorise all the jokes and the all the songs for one night of 3 hours.

1999-2000 was by far the best year in Hollywood cinema history: American Beauty, FightClub, Magnolia, Eyes Wide Shut, The Matrix... full of masterpieces and I'm afraid filmmakers haven't achieved this level again
