A quick look at my 2021 Cavalry blue Tundra with the Bilstein 6112 coilover kit, as well as 5100's in the back. Love this set up! hope you enjoy this video. like and subscribe
Nice Truck i have order the same set up but the guy i am buying from wants be to purchase his spacer along with the 6112 and 5100 to get a full 3 inches in front and install a 1" shackle in the rear so everything is level. . So if your running 6112 in front and 5100 on rear and running a 34 inch tire that is exactly the look i'm looking for. Did you use any spacers on the front? did you raise the rear any? Also did you install a differently drop? Appreciate your feed back,,,,,, Got the same truck other than 4x4 in dark gray again your trucks looks great
Mine too is a 2021 TRD-off-road in 2wd. I want to go for the level set up. Which setting would you consider the sweet spot? Currently I have the TRD package shocks on.
Gorgeous truck!!! Mine is a 2019 TRD Pro in white. When I finally wear out my OEM Michelins, I'm going with your tire package. I do really like my stock rims, though. Seriously considering wrapping it in "Blueprint" color..
Thanks for the video. Did you have anything else “suspension wise” installed besides 6100s and 5100s? Wondering if I can run the same size wheel/tires without rubbing or alignment issues.
Nice truck.I have the the same style grill on my 07 Limited. Also have 285 60 20s. Although i think they measured at 33.4 in.😊 Are those Morimoto headlights? Exhaust sounds amazing! I have the trd dual exhaust on mine.....time to update now.😁 Your chickens seem to like the exhaust as well! Good video man.
Question for you. You said that you didn't want to add aftermarket parts. Why did you go with the flow master over the TRD dual exhaust. Was it because of the price or the flow master is better? I'm having a dilemma with that decision
Looks amazing. I have a TSS in white. So I can appreciate what mine may look like. Curious why you went with 5100’s in back. Any rubbing when turning at full crank.
No rubbing at all with this setup. When I had the pro comp spacer leveling kit, there was a slight rub at full turn on reverse. But with the 6112, that issue is gone. I went with the 5100s in the back because they are a bit more affordable than the 5160s and 4wheelparts suggested it. I don't do heavy off roading so no need for the external reservoir. The ride quality is phenomenal.
Beautiful truck! On the rear did you go with the 5100 with 0-1" lift or 5100 with the 2" lift? Also, nice touch with the rear TRD badge. Is that a factory TRD Sequoia badge? Thank you!
@@htpunisher1672 I just purchased the very last 2021 Tundra delivered to CANADA. It is a MBM TRD Sport Premium CM 4x4 and I love the tasteful, yet subtle mods that you've done to your Tundra. Very classy! Great job!
Nice Tundra! 🔥🔥🔥 I've got the 6112/5160 combo on order, and I have a few questions. I'm going to have my front setting at #3 for 1.9" to level it out.... Are your wheels 20x9 0mm or 20x10 -18mm? And do you think I would be able to clear the same size wheels and tires at 1.9"? I think the 6112's lift a 2WD higher that a 4x4?
Yes, you should be good to clear that size of tire. I have 20x9 with a positive offset of 20. It clears 285x60r20 just fine on the second to last setting on the bilsteins. On a 2wd it actually lifts the front to about 2.7" but it settles to 2.5" after a few weeks. On 4wd tundras it's 2.5" on that same level. The 6112s now can go all the way up to 3 and a quarter inches at top max level. Good luck on your build!
@@htpunisher1672 the 3rd setting for mine will be 1.9" the top setting is 2.5". Thanks for the quick response. I'm looking at the Hartes Metal Offroad Hawkish which is basically identical to the Fuel Assualt. I love that color on your Tundra. My Super White DC was the only one on the lot.
@@davhews1 I went with 3rd setting for 1.9" with Coachbuilder .250" shims for an additional .500" (2:1 ratio). The reason I did that vs top setting for 2.5" is less preload on the coils. It raised my truck 3 full inches measuring before and after. Maybe it will settle over time? Express Oil & Tire Engineers did my alignment and everything is in the green.
Hey my friend i call today the headlight revolution and they ask me if the wire harness it come with a fuse.if i give you my email can you please send a picture of the wire i need?
@@alphamale6097 mpg should not be much different honestly. In my 2021 thats lifted but with the stock 18 inch wheels I can get 17 to 18 on the highway. 4x4 works like a 2wd when your driving on the road. It's not even a 1 mpg difference. But yeah once you lift a tundra with bigger wheels and tires your mpg with drop big time.
