I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. absolutely; in fact it appears that their 'issue' is with the 'assigned' sex/gender and the 'trans' part is more a statement of defiance than transition. otherwise 'trans' is a redundant adjective.

Frank did a good job differentiating between intersex and gender dysphoria, but I think he could have done better getting her to stop conflating the two. Her assumption was that all transgender people must be intersex. This gets unexamined in a lot of debates.

@@Medieval1-1 Yes but just think about what that conversation leads to from the position of convincing the audience and developing the argument. I imagine points could be made like: 1. Doesn't the movement differentiate between the two? If there's a reason for that, isn't your argument guilty of Trans erasure? 2. If someone is seeking gender affirming treatment and is biologically intersex, we have areas of agreement as to what appropriate treatment looks like. 3. Conservatives are concerned with Trans and Intersex people getting a reasonable place in society that creates healing and not excuses or unearned praise. 4. Lots of people have false and persistent beliefs about their body and automatically affirming their belief is not good for them (for example with anorexia and bulimia or with Munchausen's) and affirming beliefs and providing treatment based on that does those people harm. I could go on. But yes, I do think narratively speaking it is important to make liberals differentiate between Trans and Intersex whenever possible.

This is the exact same example I use when debating this topic and get slated for it. My reasoning is that its difficult to be objective and rational with a subject you are emotionally attached to so if you take the premise/fundamental principles of the argument and apply them to a slightly different subject you can be more objective and the principles should hold firm if valid. I had a close friend who died from an eating disorder so I personally witnessed her struggle. She was 5 stone and believed she was obese, that's who she saw in the mirror and identified as. a woman is an adult human female. I'll breakdown Adult, Human, and Female. An adult is any member of a species that reached their average age of reproduction for members of their species. From your DNA, bones, chromosome, genitals, reproduction capability, ect. You are male or female, there is no 3rd pick. Your body will lean more towards one of the 2 genders. Whatever that is, is the gender that you are. By the scientific/ biology definition, we have on woman and man. If a woman cant have babies, she is still a woman. If you fit 80% of the scientific/biology definition of what a woman is and only 5% of man? I'm going to say you're a woman. I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. She's very young (low likelihood she's in the professional stage of her life)... #2. She's wearing an LSU shirt (typically most professionals don't wear their college shirts)... #3. This is a Q&A for college students (typically professionals would be at work not at a student Q&A)... #4. Her manner of speaking, reasoning, and interaction is younger (the older you get, the bigger the difference)... #5. As a long-time human behaviour researcher, educator, and behavioural scientist, I am somewhat privy to her presented knowledge level not quite being at the 'professional' level in a field of study. If these are reasonable observations, would you say it's also reasonable she's being dishonest in presenting herself as a professional biologist? So to reiterate my original point, it would've been better for her to not conflate her opinion and status because it defeated her argument. A better (and more effective) start would've been something like: "Dear Fank, I'm like you, I'm not a professional biologist, but I've also put some thought and reading into this subject and my conclusion leads me to believe....x, y, z". Now Frank can dispute her knowledge, her experience, he can try and invalidate what she knows, BUT, because she came into the discussion with humility (by acknowledging herself as a student, with some knowledge and the beginnings of an informed opinion), it puts HIM in the position of having to be careful of not conflating because the audience will be subconsciously evaluating how he approaches her humility (will he conflate? will he reciprocate? will he seek to learn her perspective more? ...etc) I know this doesn't satisfy the ''Watch me teach this guy a lesson because my opinions are good enough to prove he's wrong and I'm right!" side of our personalities. But it is more effective and leads to a better result. If we all just took a step back, didn't conflate our own opinions, and allowed ourselves to GENTLY listen to each other (REALLY LISTEN to each other, not to respond, but to learn), we might actually start to understand each other.

But the sky is NOT inherently blue, you see it as blue and most people do, but blue is a human concept (try to explain it to a blind person), the perception of colors is subjective (as we are all different) and science explains how it appears blue from the atmosphere absorbing certain wave lengths of the white light from the sun. The sky being blue is a social construct, like we made the genders and stuff. You can't say to a color blind (or a blind person) to look at the sky as evidence for it being blue. You can't say to a person suffering from gender disphoria to look a their genitals or chromosomes to make their mind.

@@johnkofi-theultimatelife1315 The sky being blue isn't a social construct. There are biological reasons for us to interpret the radiation that comes from the particles of the atmosphere as blue. Similarly, there are biological reasons to genders and stuff. Any person who is colourblind or blind are aware that their perception does not match the reality. For example, give a colourblind person a chart with frequencies and the corresponding colour and that person won't be able to correctly identify the wavelengths coming from the atmosphere. What is happening nowadays, is that people with gender dysphoria are saying that the frequencies they can't see are the real ones and you're a bigot to say otherwise.

If some color blind person can't relate to the concept of blue in their mind, a person with gender disphoria can't relate with the concept of gender assigned to them. I mean, I understand if professors ask "are you the biologists" when searching their classes (e.g. when they are chemistry professors) but otherwise it sounds strange to me😅 I agree though because why does A or B mean professional school, whatever that is? I mean, people studies biology not only to go there but to be a biologists or microbiologists, and professors can still be biologists, so I don't understand OPs point

If there's one thing ive learned about education, its that having a degree does not mean someone is smart. Just means they stayed in school a long time. I worked with some wacko who said he has a bachelors. Dude faked having multiple personalities, one of course being a girl. And he was usually claiming to be the girl personality. But if he couldn't use a voice changer, he'd claim to be the male personality. And literally thats all that made the difference, if he could use a voice changer or not. Flip of a switch, easy as 123.
