She was only speaking English from private school. 90% of what she said was based on ignorance, and she was emotional and couldn't tolerate facts throughout the entire show.
I like Rorisang and the fact that she acknowledges that Christians have acted superior for a very long time, which has actually pushed people far away from God. But now that we are preaching the gospel without bashing any religion, it does make sense for a lot of people. "I have never said you are crazy for speaking to dead people"
@user-tk8vm4kx6y So according to you, she was making noise👀honestly I don't see it in that way, as people, we have different beliefs, and some questions are not meant to be asked, save them for Heaven
Where would Joshua Maponga be if he didn't study at white colonial university's and fly out of Zimbabwe on white colonial planes. He wouldn't even be a part of this conversation without his education at this white colonial institutions, we wouldnt care on his opinion. so why does he ask Rorisang where would she be spiritually if a "white colonial Christianity" didn't come to Africa. He must ask himself where would HE be?
She doesn't know about he black culture, she doesn't know that she wil be a ancestor to her children says it all. She has to find out about where she comes from.
Mr Joshua Maponga smoked all of them. Dr. Khehlelezi of course shared the same sentiments as him. It was not an intellectual conversation because they couldn't actually back up what they say so they started involving their emotions. There's a point where the host spoke for over 1 minute, just, ranting. I know because I was skipping through it. I feel bad for the people who were watching on TV... They had to just eat it.🤣🤣🤣
Maponga was in a roomful of ignorance. Jackie Phamotse had no input. Don't understand why she was invited. Rorisang was speaking English from private school. 95% of what she said was ignorance. Solomon found out. Doctor Khehlelezi had so much input that Jackie and Rorisang but language barrier made these two undermine him. Rorisang and Jackie are emos and could not withstand facts put forward by Maponga that's why they rely on their feelings to win the viewers.
For a man who is so opposed the to Eurocentric perspective it’s so interesting that he places that very same Eurocentric education system on such a high pedestal.
@@buyimajola4245 I’m not opposing that he use Eurocentric educational systems and methods, what I am implying is how hypocritical he is. The very same Europeans who he passionately opposes in the religious context (by the way that is a misinformed stance) created the Eurocentric educational system which he prides himself with when making an argument towards the opposition. So Eurocentrism is good when they colonise our way of learning and education and it’s something he can even brag about when mentioning how learned he is but it’s not when they “colonise” our way of worship and individuals choose to adopt that within their personal lives.
@@NathiM03 right, I hear you. Do you think he is awe of his hypocrisy? Chances are he is not awe, coz he should mention it as a disclaimer, when he makes a point.
Christianity is so strong that’s it faith can blind you from facts at any cost for your spiritual growth. Even if Christ came and told us about the acknowledgment of our ancestors we still wouldn’t accept it because we are hell bent on believing in what makes us comfortable not what will make us grow.
I must say tht Maponga triggered something where he spoke about "colonial interruption". I believe we r a people that evolve with time. So encountering ol kinds of winds and spaces in the world, we r bound to become a changed ppl in time. But the with problem with these eurocentric believe systems, they were imposed upon a people in order to evaporate that of the African indigenous. And for any African to identify with eurocentricism, impolite as it may sound, it's a shame. Lack of knowledge of who we r makes it excusable for Africans to identify with eurocentricism.
I think this is a matter of "staying in your lane" if you believe in something and it works for you. Stay there, don't castigate what others believe in.
These youth of today's time are full of anger, lack of respect and a lot of lack of knowledge. Unfortunate. The settlers did a great job and it will be very difficult for Africans to find their roots this way.
This topic is so interesting, sadly only one person was qualified to have this conversation and was not even a little bit challenged by the other speakers because they all know very little about what they practice. This conversation was also just so poorly mediated. Will the true apologetics please stand up!
After listening to this debate again again i understand that what Joshua maponga said is the real truth but people don't understand it .sad reality By the way m from northeast India (naga tribe) Thank you maponga for your wisdom 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Rorisang took this personal and she contradicted herself there. So she is conscious of the fact that Christians "born again" per se are judgemental toward African culture/traditions.
If you really want to learn when one is speaking take what you don't know, and learn from it 1.do not make a point and want to be heard as if what you know is better than what other people knows, This doesn’t need emotional feelings to learn.great chat
Not really, he's just using big words to unpack very basic concepts. It takes actual emotional maturity to respect people even when you're not in agreement with them, he failed in that regard.
@mathaleaphatela6134 Maponga didn't use big words to insult others. If you heard him very well. He's got a skill of capitalizing on Jackie and Rorisang ignorance and emotions. Rorisang and Jackie had no input in this debate TBH. They are using emotions to win the viewers over.
Maphonga brings me no peace of mind, the things he says stress me and make one feel small, that's reason enough for me to never listen to his nonsense again.
If you are fragile why participate in such conversations??. Emotionally weak people always cause deviations and personalise such conversations. I'd prefer people to be more keen on learning the truth rather than trying to defend or advocate what they've already believed, such mentality makes one immune to teachings. Lastly. One who speaks without actual experience, always teach things that yield no results. All things, powers or thrones, hidden and unhidden. In heaven and on earth, all were created by and for God.... When you get to a point where you forget that you are not God's friend, when you forget that the creators thoughts are way above your thoughts. You will be quick to condemn everything that YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. Most people are quick to talk about things they have no experience about, assume positions they weren't called for and hence preaching what they cannot practice and as a result waste people's time with teachings that yield no results
Maponga is very rude and disrespectful, I was interested in his point of view and the knowledge he has but he leaves such a distasteful impression that I do not want to go and view more of his videos. I hope he can get off his very high horse and converse without being disrespectful.
Rorisang was a bit weak here. She didn't act as a host, and now she comments. If you could Host on balance, it wouldn't be your opinion that won. Both ladies get triggered easily.
God is God, He is supreme. And just because we are Christians doesn't mean we are big enough to put God in our little box of understanding and He must conform to our limited way of teaching. If God decides to use an ancestor, it's His to use. If God wants to use an angel, it's his to use. If He wants to use a tree, it's his to use. Even an animal is God's to use. And he doesn't need to end his Godlyness in the book of Revelations. God is God, stop telling him he is not God outside of the church.
Maponga is by far analyzing logically though..Rori is trying just to be defensive but I'm sure she hears the facts if she's smart like she seems..the others seems to be just journalists nje and a fake prophet lol 😅😅 thinking outside the box lol
as I sit and enjoy the discussion but skip every part where maponga speaks, this man until he deals with his massive ego and pride I can't even take him seriously, o lenyatso okare ga se mogolo and highly misguided no wonder he calls himself bishop even though he does not believe in the very thing he labels himself as, that's pure deception to start with, I cannot hold a container full of donuts and label the outside of it 'scones', that's not just deception but confusion/misrepresentation and a lie in a nutshell to the layman and he uses it to gain a sense of honour which he does not posess cos of the lies he tells to mislead others, sorry to those who idolise him because they are too blinded from worshiping his supposed "intellect" that they can't even see through the facade, he groups believers into one box and says 'the arrogance of christianity" yet fails to deal with his own arrogance from within perfectly displayed on show in this video as well.. "before you remove the speck from your brothers eye remove the log from yours first" Bible says, these must be the verses which made him run from the Bible, people who can't stand to hear the truth often do that best, the way he bows his head when others are speaking showing he is not even listening just goes to show he believes get bigger and smarter than all of them and didnt come to learn anything but ridicule and push own agenda yoh, heal sir,
