What a blast from the past. We'll never have something as great as COD 2007-2012. I'm just glad I was old enough to enjoy such a golden era of cod games. My middle school and high school days were nothing but those games and it will be missed. Dearly.
i recently got cold war, my first cod game since bo3, and they changed so much in that shit that it makes me sad what the franchise came to be, even the zombies doesn't give that same happiness as it did playing with the bros mid 2010s. i will forever cherish those early days, i hope you do the same too man, we will never have cod the same way again.
Black Ops 1 just brings me back so many memories. I remember I would never stop playing the Zombies mode. I could never play multiplayer because my parents never got me Xbox Live Gold for once in my life.
Like another dude said in the comment section "We'll never have something as great as COD 2007-2012" I wished that we could experience those games for the first time again! I have so many memories with these games. Together with older Battlefield games as well!
I’m so sad these days are gone playing with my younger brother and cousin. But I’m so happy I got to live those moments. WAW / COD4 MW2 / BO1 / MW3 / BO2 …. So happy I got to play these games at their peak.
I miss bo1, when cod hit its prime. Ice cube as the voice actor for bowman, Sam worthington as mason, eminiems song not afraid almost being the soundtrack for BO1, and the zombies. What I'd kill to be back in 2010
These days are gone lads. The new CODs are for the next generation. The veteran devs, writers, designers from our favorite publishers and studios are either gone or retired.
When I was nine years old, I played this game on an old ass CRT TV. My ethernet cable to the ps3 was connected through my window, which led to my neighbours apartment, the cable amounted to about twenty-five feet, connected to my neighbours wifi router which he was so kind to let me borrow. That cable survived rainfall and storms straining it, letting a young 'Squeaker' at the time make memories. Sometimes I'd let my younger brother join and we'd play splitscreen search and destory. I was getting stomped, but it didn't matter, I think out of all the games I've ever played, black ops 1 was the only game I ever got addicted too. There's a lot of memories, many stand out, but what immediately makes me think black ops 1, is this theme. Thanks for the memories guys.
My friend and I used to play this game every other weekend. Local FFA / 2v2 split screen or LAN games. Damn just hearing this theme brings back memories 🥹
I love this era of CoD because they were like: "how can we make this games serious and realistic but without taking away any of the fun?" It was the perfect balance between realism, historical accuracy and good fun with sick action
I like to play the strings part on my guitar. I was playing OG MW3 with my friends back then and when we were between matches, I grabbed my guitar and fired up the amp and cranked it, right? I played this riff on the guitar, and dude was like, "stop." Talkin bout he hated that theme song. 🤣 I'm like omfg, it's the best, are you kidding me? 😂
I remember having over 200 hundred million cod dollars lmao prestige 15 😂😂😂 I miss the days when it was in its prime thousand of people playing talking you’d go from arguing with someone to a heart filled convo 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
GOD, I miss the XBOX 360 days!!! It was so Fun playing Call of Duty Black Ops!!! [LocalJupiter60] will always be MY GamerTag!!! If You want what was your GamerTag in the GOLDEN Era of XBOX 360?😎
I was seasoned in halo and MW2 up to BLOPs, but this music made me feel the way i did the first time my childish ass played halo 3 legendary for the first time, the nerves of knowing this was going to be a hard fight... I miss the way video games made me feel
Ah I miss having to just play to get in game money for unlockables or weapons. Not being felt like a COG in s money making machine was kept to the map packs. Shit was proper peak time for fun for me.
@@THE_QUICKKING I know man, but I still can't quite bring myself to start all over after my other 360 got the red ring, but thanks man! I mainly play PS2 myself.
