Jack can be a bit of a weasel but he's a beloved one. 🤣🤣 You have great readings on Eleanor and Max so far. Max sees the ever changing dynamics of their world. Eleanor is more like a bulldozer, intent on plowing her own path no matter the cost. There's such great pirate politics in the series. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Flint has a LOT of layers and it's so fun to watch people go on a rollercoaster of feelings trying to decipher him and also the other characters they all are nuanced and I guarantee you'll feel different about them throughout the show
Max is a stone cold badass. Not everybody catches it, but when Vane was holding her by the throat she was frantically signaling Silver NOT to intervene, because she knew his intervention would prevent the deal from happening. Anybody who's willing to let themselves be choked just to facilitate a business transaction and doesn't even try for revenge later deserves the highest respect.
You are very on point with Eleanor and Max. Without spoiling too much, the effects of that moment of betrayal are long lasting. Really tough episode on the horizon, so hang in there. So many amazing rewards coming your way. Again, the sex and nudity all but disappear as the show embraces it's strength in characters and storylines. Let the pieces move into place and enjoy this opening season of introductions and character building.

I'm going to warn you, there will be some scenes in S1 that will be hard to watch but do not worry because for as awful and painful as they will be, they will be all the more rewarding when their payoff comes! It'll all be worth it!!
