Hey friends,
how are you all?
I've gone and found another buried play around in my Moleskin Pocket Sketchbook!
It's from 4 years ago, and I was going through some older ones and found the original, which prompted me to search for a possible accompanying video.... and I found it!! buried between (a lot) of pictures of our nearby Swan family and zany videos of my daughter trying to keep herself entertained during the first year of Covid measures (the novelty of being off school had worn off by September 2020)
I'm so pleased that I've been able to save this session, as I remember enjoying it so much, and I really wanted to find it for you!
MATERIALS:
I'm pretty sure I was using Brusho Pigment powder watered down:
Crimson
Violet
Moss Green
Brush: Caran D'ache (from a set of gouache paints)
Dip pen (but you could use a Pigma Micron or similar?)
But any red and purple, mixing different values (more water, less water) and dropping the Moss Green, almost in its powder form into the centre of the flowers.
Brusho is available on Amazon or from colourcraft.uk/ who are based in Sheffield UK and are the makers of Brusho.
Do let me know if you have any questions :O)
Enjoy!
Ta ta for now,
Holly x x x
