@@Chaseh1616 it's been almost a year since I got mine it's so easy to use, used it about 8x already my advice is season it well and it will take care of you
Hello, do you have the Blackstone 17" grill? I would like to work with you to shoot a video or some photos with your Blackstone grill and my accessories, I have two propane adapter hoses for the Blackstone grill that I can send to you for free. You just need to send me a video or some photos of my accessories installed on your Blackstone grill. Would you be willing to do that?
Lol I’m actually not sure, it came with the house when we bought it. It’s not that great though, it functions fine but the thing is wobbly as all hell. Might upgrade at some point if we start renting the house out.
Have you tried royal gourmet? Also, do you recommend this 17 inch over a bigger royal gourmet for the same price point? I’ll be using this for my small pop up camper.
I have buddies who have both the royal gormet and the newer camp chef one. They all perform about the same. There’s a 22” one and if you can fit it then you could go to that size but it really depends on how much space to cook you need. How many ingredients you do at a time. 17” is a pretty decent size but a camper could store a larger one if you felt like it.
I got one the with the single burner. Cleaned the packing stuff & seasoned it by heating on the burner (as directed). That left the edges not well seasoned. So the next time I used the grill to even pre-heat it then repeat the seasoning. Worked much better edge to edge. Wish I had seen your video first. Kinda like pre-heating then transfer to the burner when ready. The whole thing is even heated at the start then by the end the edges are cooler for just keeping things warm.
Jus picked up the 17" inch for my new camper, for some reason the previous owner took out the 2 burner cook top from the outdoor kitchen so this was a better replacement and I'm limited in space so the 22" wouldn't have fit.
In this video I was running a Coleman camp table but the grill actually dented one of the roll top parts because it was a tad to heavy. I’ve since switched to a double… I’ll see if I can find it.
It’s not the cheapest thing ever but it’s kind of the perfect table. There are tons of knock offs and other brands that are very similar. amzn.to/37Prsxp
I’ve used it a few times and have been able to pick it up by the bottom part right after cooking. The heating element may retain some heat but I haven’t put my hand near that after cooking.
This video is right on the money. Received a Blackstone, someone just bought open box. It’s missing components. I have a 22” and knew something was wrong with 17”.😊
I don’t think so. I’ve had lots of grilles that keep that green bottle roughly about that close to the grille. Maybe it’s because propane tanks get cold in use. I don’t know the mechanics behind it but most grilles keep them about that close to the heating element.
It’s just a piece of wood I put up there for the video. I’m actually developing a product now that goes on top of the drawers and I might have that soon.
Hard to say because I usually would use them for both cooking and my fire pit so I never got close to running out while cooking. I have actually switched to the ignik growler for propane. 5lbs and it’s only $4 to fill so it’s cheaper than the green bottles in the long run.
Not cheap but I’m thinking about how much I’ve spent on the green ones and recycling them is a pain. Keep using them if you want but this is the one I have and reccomended if you want to check it out.
That’s not just for their item it’s just what you do to all cast iron. Technically they have already oiled it before you get it but I always make sure to add my own oil to any cast iron after I buy it.
@@OXFOOT Yes I am familiar with cast iron and how season it I was just curious why they had you season the one side which is the actual cooking surface only to do it the second time and flip it over I would think the oil would run off sorry for the confusion
Can you give me the measurements of this griddle? I need front to back and side to side, not counting the tank. The measurements online say 20x20x8. I cant see how since its supposed to be 17". Thanks.
I've had one for about a year and a half, love it. Extremely nice to have when going to the park, beach, or camping. Only drawback is the decals on mine wore off with being exposed to either grease or when cleaning it.
I’ll have to see how it holds up over the next year or so. So far it’s really nice and I really like it and if all that’s gone wrong is the decal fading I’d say it’s all around pretty much a win.
