Played Call of Duty Modern Warfare after a long time, really loved everything about this game until this campaign started and damn they are full of propaganda, this game just ruins the experience for you when you see such lies that even a caveman won't believe it, I know COD has a lot of fundings from the pentagon, etc and they have always been justifying US interest heroically but this one reached annoying levels, I guess I should be sticking to WW1 and WW2 games.

Its called call of duty for a reason , its been a blatant Propoganda machines since Modern Warfare 4 , new to this ?

In early cod modern warfare they didn't show all of the Russian army as rogue or bad guys, they showed a political party (Imran Zakhav) or Makarov (terrorist organisation).

But here they say, Russians are terrorists etc etc, like not just a group, one place they say kill those Russian dogs, cod was always a propaganda but wasn't presented that blatantly until these new CODs.

cod is 100% a propaganda game its partially funded by the us army to get recruits, however not everything they say is a lie, the best propaganda is indistinguishable from the truth as it is the truth and deception combined.

if you actually notice, they are operated by Barkov, not specifically the Russian army! Play MW2 or MW3 (2022-2023) and you will see what I mean.. In the ending of MW2, Laswell says "They're working with someone new", and in MW3, Makarov strikes a Russian military base, which means its not the Russian army on this. *It's a private army* thats trying to start war in the middle east! Hope you understand what i mean.

Thanks bud for elaborating, I still had to play MW2 and MW3, but the game uses the term "Russians" rather than Barkhov men. I know Russians are always the bad guys in cod but they were part of a specific political party or a terror group.

There is something called "Ultranationalist army" and its built by former Russian Military, but their ideas were more radical, and the Russian government kicked those guys out of the country to prevent a civil war (sike). Even Nikolai says: "Barkov is a stain on my country", that kinda explains what actually Russia feel about those guys. And thats why you can find those russian paramilitary buddies on Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Kyrgysztan. Im not defending COD, they show a HUGE savior complex right there but they camouflage it with a "british army".

Yeah Barkov's army was a rouge unit and Russia didn't tell Barkov to invade Urzikstan. The army Barkov commands is made up of Russian soldiers and pmcs. People just took the "Russia are bad guys" excuse and ran with it for no reason without reading the lore.

@@FreaksayTWD that's not even a problem, problem is they can't handle it. They made a villain but no one touched her during interrogation. If you're a OG COD fan, you know how interrogations are done by Price and Ghost. Remember the Favelas and Al Asad? They did none of that, which is far from what actually happens. So yeah, unnecessarily woke.

@@willysillyplays you should take a look at what russian troops openly have been doing to ukrainian civilians since day one of their 'special military operation' there's a reason they're such easy antagonists in games like this.
