So glad I found your tutorials they are fantastic thank you! I can't find the next video on retopology though and I am a bit stuck on how to get a low-poly version of my sculpt.
Thanks! I'm glad they help! Oh yeah sorry, I'm a terrible person, I haven't finished this one yet haha, I have a retopology video here (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tNkdOe-BAJo.html) that might help. Or try Danny Mac 3d here (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3L8eZAwmG2E.html) he's way better than me at explaining retopology haha
Hi! Could you help me pls? They announced a new feature before 2.91 release - switching objects in sculpt mode by hovering over a needed object and pressing D . For some reason it doesn`t work for me, although shortcut D assigned to do exactly that. Do you know what might be the reason?
Hey! My understanding is that this feature is not live in the final version of 2.91, only the Alpha version. It is available again in 2.920 Alpha. You can get a somewhat similar feature in older versions of Blender by going to Edit -> turn off Lock Object Modes. Then you can Alt+Left Click to switch between objects a little quicker in Sculpt mode. It's a little clunky, and can be cumbersome in itself though sometimes.
@@RussellMidfield yea, this Alt+LMB works weird, half the times it just switches to object mode :D I guess i`ll just wait a bit for the D feature to start working. Thanks for the tip and for responce, really appreciate it!
@@GooSoldier haha yeah, the problem with the Lock Objects mode approach is that the object you switch to has to already been put into sculpt mode, it remembers the last mode a given object was in and so when you Alt left click it, it will go to whatever that mode was. Not the best, but once you have switched all your objects your sculpting on to sculpt mode it works a little nicer.
