this was cool at all but there is a free addon who works a bit like substance painter it's called Ucupaint its also available as a extinction for BL4.2 there is also Has Paint Layers who is also free Ravage 2 LIT but i don't know what his limitation are and Philigix Pbr Painter - its a paid addon and we also have the link blender to 3Dcaot
Been a few years and I feel I've gotten better at using Blender, been using Bool Tool, in Object mode, when pressing the N key, to make the tool tab to appear and joined everything together, then smoothed the mesh.
Yeah it's a very common sore point in the process haha. There are automatic retopology tools but they aren't the best, especially if you want to animate or import into a game engine. There are retopology aids like Retopoflow that make the process a little more bearable.
Please, don’t name that retopology. It’s f*** not retopology. It’s remeshing. Retopology is about animation and deformation, you can’t do anything with what you do with those addons. Respect job of CGI artists, don’t tell shit.
Cool tutorial, man. However, when I try to export it as an OBJ file, the transparent image texture doesn't apply to the exported model. Why is this happening? I want to use in Unity

Thank you for this series. But one thing you should really mention is the fact that saving the blend file, does not save textures. I lost the whole episodes work because of this and had to redo it.
Quad remesher - couldn't get this to install in Blender 4.1 unfortunately. Installed the add-on and nothing happens - no quadremesh tab appears in the panel. Installed with ease in 3DS Max but would prefer to use it in Blender with the workflow I'm using. Any ideas?
