jfc dude. I been working on blender for like a month now, and I'm just finding your channel. This video alone has addressed COUNTLESS things that have confused tf out of me. You explain things clearly, and if you run into issues you explain it instead of just instantly fixing it without a word. Your tutorials put these massive 100k+view videos to shame. Thank you for being genuinely helpful. I can't get over this. Just glancing at the playlist and you literally cover everything that I have been looking for. I love you.

I just discovered this channel today and I must say it is soo good. I will binge watch it today especially the modular series. I am working on creating assets for unity and what I see here is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much for the clear explanation. I hope in the future you would consider actually making a course on that.

Love the videos the information provided is terrific Thanks. Only question would you consider using more contrasting colors it is a little hard to see what you are doing with the theme colors at least for me

wonderful video! quick question: If I was exporting to game engine, would I be doing the grouping, duplicating, and scaling to get inside/outside in engine, or perform that in blender?

Do set dressing in engine. Only make your base components.

So I've been having an issue with my modular wall pieces. They are four pieces, each 4 to 1 meters respectively, with another corner piece. The origins are all set to be on the bottom left vert. I have absolute grid snap ON, and have made sure to snap them on the the grid. I've made sure that the edges are not misaligned at all, and that all transforms are applied. But for some reason, whenever I snap them next to each other on the grid, or vertex snap them to each other, and I zoom in as far as I can, they appear to be misaligned. They are slightly either very slightly overlapping, or there's a slight gap between them. I've spent a ton of time trying to fix it but I've run out of ideas. Do you have an idea of why this would happen?

Triple check. Origins may be off perhaps or vertex. If not that it can be other things that make it look off.

I’m stuck on getting half of the plane to rotate/pivot on the middle edge (15:00). I’ve gone back and made sure my settings match yours. When I rotate after loop cutting down the middle the middle edge doesn’t stay snapped to the grid, it moves up and down the x axis. Any idea what I’m doing wrong? Also thank you for taking the time to make these videos!

Use active element, shift click an edge to make it the highlighted one (active), its up by "global" in the top of the 3d view. You have to use active element when doing groups of edges verts faces, or groups of objects.

I am at the 18 min mark and snapping refuses to work. I can't snap the second stair to the first no matter what snapping mode I use in Blender 3.1.

I had to use median point for some strange reason but it works now.

Strange, still works over here on 3.1. Make sure its active other then that not real sure what the problem would be.
