I honestly think that the way they balance comedy and drama on Barry is quite masterful. Easily A tier for me.

The Expanse gets so so sooo good!

Haunting of hill house was so good. I don't normally like scary shows but everything was amazing, the filming, acting, story line, character development.. I wish everyone did a reaction to it!

Titans is insane, how a show with such good production quality, sets, costume design and good actors ended up with probably the worst written episodes ever is amazing, genuinely stupid character decisions. But damn the suits look cool and im gonna watch season 3...

Love how Eric could not let go of Rick putting Haikyuu in S even at the very end of the stream.

Black Sails, AoT, and Steins;Gate all in S, as they should be. If you haven't seen any of those, I strongly recommend giving them a watch

Agents of SHIELD is excellent. Glad to see it in S tier.

As a die hard code geass fan, my heart hurts a bit every time I see it in the same tier as dragon ball super. I get that not everyone likes it, I get the art style is strange, I get that the though elevator stuff downgrades the show, I get that that there are a lot of plot conveniences, I get that it has problems. I still love it

Expanse made it boys, it was close. That show only gets better and better imo.

I didn’t really watch the Titans reactions because of my dislike of the show. Knowing you all feel the same way brings me so much joy.

The Expanse will eventually become a way too define S Tier. Season one is A level- but it only gets better.

Watchmen in S is a pleasant surprise and more proof you guys should watch The Leftovers, Lindelof's previous HBO show.

Ranking on a 1-10 scale by adding each of yalls numbers then divide by 4 then rounding would be a good way to do it. Also I tend to break things into 3 categories: World, Story, and Cinematography. World - how unique and fleshed out. Am I fascinated by world outside of the story I am following? Story - cohesive, well planned and executed, and how interesting. Does it have a clear story/message that it succeeds in telling? Cinematography - lighting, sound, and visual quality. Does it push boundaries? I like to assign a point value to each then average them out and round to decide my number.

I feel like Rick felt way too opinionated on WandaVision for someone who dropped off the back half of the MCU. I mean he said that he couldn't connect to Wanda as much as the show wanted him to but... Thats like watching the beginning of a character's arc in a show, skimming though the middle and skipping to the final season. Of course you wouldn't be as emotionally invested in it! Elizabeth Olsen did such a great job portraying what Wanda went through these past few years and that second to last episode was amazing. I personally would rank it as an A-. I thought it was very consistent through out but I do think the finale wasn't as good as the rest of the show.

Once you finish season 3 of the Expanse, you won't believe you ever considered it anything other than an S.

The Expanse debate is kinda funny because I think they're up to 304... I'm willing to bet that by the end of 305, it would've be a unanimous S.

I'M HERE FOR THE EXPANSE!!!! Edit: They voted it in S hell yeah!!! Honestly any doubts of putting it in S will be squashed by the time season 3 finishes.

Great list, love your reactions! Although I strongly disagree with Aaron's take that Rebels is better than Clone Wars. Rebels seemed to me a lot more childish and the overall stories in clone wars were far more emotional and more unique and original. Rebels had a lot of similar filler stories like smuggling stuff, infiltrating the empire and escaping them, etc. Clone wars gave life to so many clones and interesting characters, they redeemed Anakin for so many people and gave backstories to so many well-established characters, they also made Maul from a nobody with a double-bladed saber into an amazing character and introduced Rex and Ahsoka that a lot of fans love more than any of the movie characters. Plus the highs of rebels all count on older established characters and characters from the clone wars (Ahsoka vs Vader, Obi-Wan vs Maul, Rex...).

I don't agree with many placements on this list personally, but overall, it is pretty respectable! I've enjoyed hearing the reasons they give for their placements and respect their different tastes. There are a lot of placements I also *do* agree with and look forward to this hopefully being a yearly thing and seeing where/if shows move when they finish them. This run of podcasts have been really fun to watch! I kind of wish they would watch some of the classic/other great HBO shows, but I'm not sure how many of them would be up their alley. Mostly The Wire (GOAT TV series), The Sopranos, Deadwood, Rome, Boardwalk Empire, The Leftovers, True Detective, Six Feet Under, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Generation Kill, John Adams, etc... and some other great anime that don't have a dub, aren't as popularly known or they just haven't gotten to like Legend of the Galactic Heroes (GOAT anime -- I feel like Rick would really dig this one), Vinland Saga, Planetes, Monster, Baccano!, Darker than Black, Hajime no Ippo, Samurai Champloo, FLCL, Space Dandy, Psycho-Pass, Mushishi, Megalo Box, Ghost in the Shell: SAC, Last Exile, Mononoke, Space Brothers, etc...

This list is crazy😂But having watched these videos you guys make it more about the enjoyment of watching the show so it makes sense not the actual show it’s self

All I can say is, I am so so so so glad that Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann got similar visceral and hype as hell reactions that I had my first time through. I have so much more appreciation for it on subsequent watches and from watching analysis videos over the years. It really makes my heart feel good seeing it at S-Tier

Ever since the start where they out AoT in S, I've been happy as can be, though as a manga reader I'm very interested to see what they think of the ending. As for the other shows though I can get behind a lot of them as well which is great. This was a very enjoyable journey to watch.

Glad Korra got an A. Yes the writing goes up and down but damn the animation and music is soo good

From the shows I've seen on this tier list, I'd say they're all placed pretty fairly. Personally would bump up Doom Patrol and Umbrella academy a tier each, and although HxH, Mob Psycho and Clone Wars are some of my favorite shows of all time, I understand the A rank. Super glad that AoT, Gurren Lagann and Mandalorian are S tier. Mando isn't that much if a surprise but AoT and TTGL both are so amazing and I'm glad you guys saw the same worth in them that we all do! Also, people complaining that Naruto is C-tier.. I love the series too but, the anime has so many issues. Pacing is poor, filler is an issue, so much padding for time with recaps, flashbacks etc.

Everytime I leave youtube autoplaying overnight I end up here. So strange.

Torchwood is such an insane ride that it definitely belongs in C tier. Nevertheless, I'll always recommend it to anyone who likes Doctor Who. It's so fun to watch because you never know what you're going to get next--something truly great, or something so bad it's good. There's no in between (well, except for some of season 4 where it drags).

Does anyone know what Titanic thing Eric was talking about when he said he disliked season four of Korra?

I'm happy with seeing Expanse and Mandalorian at the top. I'm a Tom Baker Doctor Who fan, and I like most, but not all of the recent Who. The whole list makes sense.

The Boys only A tier? Every scene in every episode just hits. Almost every episode felt like a movie. Dark, gritty, fast-paced looking behing the scenes at the way people actually behave and the way they behave when they have power. Pulled no punches and some memorable scenes and dialogue

There are a lot of people that like SAO Abridged, me included. Its ofc not a great television series but a fun comedy show on youtube. I find it a bit weird though that, even though it was obviously recommended to them, or they wouldnt have watched it, everyone voted D or lower. Doesn't make a lot of sense. I can understand the Blind Wave Team though. While as an active anime watcher now I consider Sword Art Online one of the worst anime ever made that reached mainstream, when I watched it for the first time it was one of the first anime I ever watched. I found a Top 10 list I made when I saw only like 12 or so anime and back then I gave it a 10/10 even if I cant remember. As the person I am now that is disappointed by all the things SAO did wrong, it was nice to see the Abridged series fix it so I did enjoy it for showing me one way SAO could have been to be better. And ofc the humor actually made me laugh, not all of it but enough of it. I guess wether you find something funny or not is just coincidence. A shame that by coincidence none of Team Blindwave liked the humor, but I guess thats how friendcircles form. Everyone of my friends that has seen it likes SAO abridged, and everyone in their friendcircle doesnt.

Probably unpopular opinion: i enjoyed wandavision way more than falcon. Never really been interested in captain america so a whole season about his legacy and the aftermath of his death just wasnt for me. The story is also very straightforward and I prefer mysteries. I connected way more with Wanda’s grief and loneliness, she prob one of my favourite MCU superheroes now.

DareDevil, Clone Wars, The Boys and The Punisher would make my S tier. I don't see GoT but despite the bad ending it deserves an S. As a whole it may just be the best show I've ever seen....but the end. :(

Interestingly, the only two I passionately disagreed with here were both of the female led Marvel shows. I would have bumped both WandaVision and Agent Carter higher.

So, the mining disaster that was featured in the Crown was the Aberfan mining disaster that was in Wales not England. Might not seem important outside of Wales but it was really important event that lead to miner strikes and such.

The thing with Abridged Parodies is that it's not a market substitute for the source material. What I like about SAO is that it does something very different than what DBZA did which is more of comedic retelling than an Abridged Parody. It kinda does its own thing. I think there's more to it than people yelling at eachother. Especially with Kirito. And I gotta respect them for that. For trying something different.

As someone who loves Naruto, I think C is fair for it. Shippuden I would give a B maybe even a low A. Also we need a 2nd Haikyuu reaction with the rest of the crew so everyone understands the greatness.

B is fair for both Wandavision and F&WS honestly. I'd say low B for F&WS and high B for Wandavision.

Prison Break at C is shocking i understand the last season was a bit of a mess but the first Seasons were great maybe at least A or B for me.

Who else wish they could watch ozark and the last kingdom 2 great shows and some of the best

5th season for expanse got weird so can't say yet, but 4th one has been the best... and they have to end after 6th one because 7-9 would require aging.. or waiting like 20 years.. :D

Its weird i really dont like Anime yet i managed to finish Attack on Titans it got very Addicting which made me move on to One Punch man and Haikyuu which i havent completed it . A friend suggested if i like less confusing Anime i should watch Cowboy Bebop and My Hero Academia should i ?

Does anyone else find it a little weird they dont mention Shane in shows he’s watched with them. Like Rick said “yeah i watched sherlock on the channel” i know that he did but i just think it’s weird that none of them bring up Shane when it’s a show he watched with them too. Like not even mentioning “i watched this with shane” and thats it

So i calculated, 1 year from now on, when they will come back to this list, and for that date, they will be at the very end of Naruto.... I think it will move up a tier or two :D Soooo many good arcs (and characters) coming.

Iron Fist is a D. Things like Inhumans and Batwoman are a special category of bizarre litterally unwatchable disaster. Season 2 of Iron Fist had a whole new creative team, Black Panther's fight director, a whole different storyline and is actually not terrible.

I'd love for you guys to rank all MCU movies and Star Wars movies etc.

Funny you say that, but there is a fan edit of Naruto called Naruto kai. It takes all the episodes takes out recaps, fillers, previews, only keeps new ops and eds. It won't work well with reaction though, especially full-lengths, unfortunately.

When they finish Brooklyn Nine-Nine, I'd want them to watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia next to fill in that comedy spot

Man, One Punch Man in C makes me wanna punch many walls. But I totally agree with Rick on some points like Demon Slayer. Plot & characters are the most important, animation just enhances them & the overall enjoyment.
