I had given up hope of solving my problem with my sync module being off line ,after having a new router installed , all I kept getting was incorrect password after following your advice all is now good .did the reset and checked saved wi fi clicked forget the one I no longer needed thank you well explained

I am at my wits end, my Sync has had no issues for a few years. After an internet outage it will not reconnect. I have uninstalled it and it will not install again. I keep getting wrong password every single time. I even ordered a new one and it had the same issue. I have tried all your suggestions and more still the same. After entering password it tries to connect and the red light comes on and then the app says wrong password. I even tried using a tablet to install, same result.

Same here... I'm with Bell. After moving to a new house, there is no way to set it up again. I disabled 5GHz and 6GHz. I'm connected to the 2.4Ghz band from different phones and PCs. Still, the Sync Module won't connect. So frustrating!!!

I fixed it!! Connecting my phone to the 2.4Ghz part of my network (I disabled the 5Ghz and 6Ghz) and I UNINSTALLED the Blink app totally. Rebooted (network and phone) then reinstalled the app. Connected to my account and it finally stopped telling me "Connection Failed" and that my password may incorrectly entered. My system is back up! Don't despair people. I wasted countless hours over 2 days before this, so happy it's back :)

Same here man Had a power outage and ever since it wont reconnect. Im done with this POS device .

I have a solid green light and a blinking blue light. This module is not writing to the USB. I have cycled power and reset it too. I also checked and reformatted the USB drive. I reset the camera at the front door and still not writing to the USB. On my laptop wifi I do see an entry for this module BLINK-OUNO. So why is it not working?

My god I hate these cameras. Constantly run out of batteries and the sync module are unreliable. Every time something has happened in our local area and I check my cameras they have stopped recording... My advice to others is just get a different more reliable system.

They do suck, and they delay so much, when you try to select the camera "live"

Thank you for your clear explanations. BUT Externalities manage to put my system offline on demand to cover up as soon as I leave the premises. Therefore I have changed router, and sim card provider and it is locked up and unreachable. then hidden the network. How do they do it and which further precautions may I attempt other than installing a whole new system involving taking down 10 cams and 2 blink minis ? They also manage to block on demand the blink mini which goes straight to the previous old wifi without sync2 in between. For this purpose I contacted Blink support and the helped me by phone to change wi fi on the sync2 module, doing approximately what you say, following my moves step by step. Nonetheless the system is put offline on request. Disarming feeling. I hope to get your advice or consulting. I have clicked like and subscribe. Best Emanuele

I have mine sitting right next to my Wi-Fi. Can you pull it away to another room? I’m having trouble with my cameras, picking up motion like my driveway. It don’t pick up a car coming down it.

Yeah as long as the signal strength is good enough you can have the sync mod and wifi router in different rooms You can check the signal strength from the sync module tab on the homescreen But I don't think that has anything to do with your cameras picking up unwanted motion.

If my camera is missing from the place how I can know his location?

@negritasumbona Unfortunately, there is no way you can accurately pin point its location. If it still connects to your blink app, you could go by the signal range of the camera from the general settings of the camera

I am facing the same issue and can not get the sync module to connect. Followed all the recommended steps even from support. Issue is when trying to move the WiFi info to the Sync Module but the Green led turned RED , the blue led went off and ", Gave error that the WiFi password could be incorrect while it is not and a looping message "Connecting to Blink Server"

That is weird. Some viewers did say that having a smaller length password worked for them since blink servers can be a pain sometimes to connect to. Can you maybe try changing your WiFi password, or even connecting via a different wifi network with a smaller length password?

@@blinqblinqtech This short PW never crossed my mind and I guess no one ever think of it but it is worth knowing. I have some good news, after trying so many ways, the only thing that I didn't try was to add the Sync Module "MANUALLY" by entering the Serial Number instead to scanning the QR code, it worked from the first time. This also could make sense with the short PW thing as QR code data might cause an overflow. Anyway, we now have 2 approaches: Manual adding and Short PW. Thanks again. Really appreciated

⁠do the following: 1) do “forget network@ for you current WiFi 2) re connect to your WiFi and enter your password 3)reset the sync module till you get these blinking lights and steady 4) continue adding the module as usual. Hope it will be

Hope you found our video helpful! If not, it would be best to contact Blink support and get your unit replaced. There are some users who face similar issues like yours and it is unfortunately a hardware issue in most cases.

I replaced my internet with a 1gb speed router from Spectrum. I was not satisfied with the performance and replaced their router with a EERO pro 6e (INP suggested) better speed but cannot sync it. I was able to get the minis online but not the sync module. I get an error message that I’ve entered the wrong password which I have not. Customer service for Blink suggested that have my INP enter the MAC address to my account. I’ve ordered another sync Mod that will arrive today. Do you think this will work? Is the EERO Pro 6E a 5ghz router? Help

UPDATE!!!!! I was able to successfully get my Blink Module online. EERO customer service was able to remotely disable the 5ghz for a short time to 2.4ghz and I was able to connect the sync mod at that point. They also said that I could have done this myself in the EERO app trouble shooting section. You may wish to give this information in your next video. Did you also know the Blink cameras can simultaneously record video now? Again, more content for you.

I had trouble reconnecting Blink after changing from Spectrum to AT&T until I heard from BlinqBlinq that Blink only works with a 2.4GHz channel, but I'd been trying to install on a channel that's "shared" by 2.4 and 5GHz channels on the AT&T modem. I navigated to the modem/network control panel to give each channel its own name, installed Blink on the 2.4GHz channel, and changed the names back to the original "shared" name.
