are you new to the game? Have you played the game before the Genji massive nerf? If no, he was extremely OP. If you're telling me he wasn't OP, you're not playing him right. Best Characters were Tracer and Genji by best i meant there were no hard counterpicks for them. Ana was OP and always get picked in Competitive, but the Halloween patch nerfed her. If you don't know why she was op? your game sense/skill level isn't that good and you're in no position to judge what character is op or not because you should know more about the game before doing shit like that.
Is it bad that I get a bit emotional with this presentation? They really captured lightning in a bottle all those years ago with what they created. The reactions, the glow and awe in people's faces, the universe of OW, the characters, the lore, the goal of the game to make it fun focused. Let me go back to May 25, 2016. That's when OW was truly amazing.
@@yes1667 , I know right. It was set out to be one of the biggest games in the world, yet lost a lot of popularity due to the game getting progressively less balanced.
+Jane of course xD, just wondering do you actually play overwatch because I have friends who are barely online and I always miss out on theat 20% more xp
Nothing can replicate what we all experienced when Overwatch first came out. This was the same time I went to college for game dev and animation. Even tho that chapters been long closed. The memories and the people I’ve met will stay with me forever. Thank you OW ^~^
@@ArtonGaming but the new heroes are gonna be behind a paywall. Aswell with glitches that were in the beta still remaining. And a system worse then loot boxes
It may be the nostalgia talking but damn you can see all the effort and love in every part of this presentation. That's the part of the game i fell in love with
My heart is sad when I watch this. I miss when this game had real hype. Once Jeff and Michael Chu left, the heart and soul of this game left. Now it's just a micro transactions shell of it's former self. RIP Overwatch, you did good.
Yeah, the community's skill at playing the game outpaced ActiBlizz' ability to balance it. It was a bad foundation from the start, but it was implemented well, to begin with, despite that. Then, it just collapsed under its own weight. Such a sad case-study, there was so much potential and it was so easy to prevent the fall. Shame greed for money had to come first.
Man this game used to be so cool. I remember my parents buying me my 1st pc and buying this game. I logged on and had so much fun talking to random people. Made a bunch of friends.... sad how this type of experience doesn't really exist anymore with games
What I love about Overwatch is the whole discovery of things along the way. If you were invested in OW since day one, even if it was just through videos. You´ll remember all those speculation videos about who Soldier and Reaper and all the other videos trying to piece the relationships characters have togehter. And I love how as time went on the OW team just gave us confirmation or shut us down. The discovery and speculation of things in the OW universe was one of my fav parts.
Tbh me too, its not like its better but i miss playing the game the whole day w people i loved hanging with, i used to be a DPS lucio main so you could tell how annoyed I am.
Overwatch may be, and has been, in arguably one of its lowest states currently, but dang if it isn’t somewhat emotional seeing everyone so hyped about it years ago. Here’s hoping the hype comes back again.
whenever i see a og fan complaining abt a game he has played for over 6 years saying its bad or its in its low point, ill always remember the meme of that steam review of that guy saying the game he has put 6000 hours into sucks lmao
I love how people cheered at the genji reveal as he was considerd dead in the lore and that's all we knew about him. So wierd looking back at these videos now that he is literally like.. One of the more iconic characters in the whole game!
Ah yes overwatch pre Sombra, no stuns no over the top broken heroes, heroes that were broken, were broken in a fun way back then, the game back then was so fucking good.
