Thanks for making like a step by step video on how to fucking do blocks and shit, I never really got a chance to see any of this shit when I was in highschool and I took a total different route with my education (Millwright) I can show you how to change spindle bearings on a CNC machine, but I cant take apart a motor. The consistency will be the success of this channel along with the constant knowledge.

Now you can put a dirty great big spoiler on the MR2 so you can get some down force and hence traction. Also you can make your own motor mounts by casting them in resin. The bushing-less mounts you have made fail due to metal fatigue (and trying to weld to high tensile steel with out taking proper precautions). The bushings absorb vibration and shock loads to a degree. Aluminium is particularly vulnerable to metal fatigue. You should put the rubber bushings back on the lower pins of your aluminium radiator if you haven't done so already.

its PCV positive crankcase ventilation. stop any trapped blow by staying in the crankspace. also if its boosted you should have run a little more ring gap over std, as higher boost means more expansion.

Tip for installing pistons, get thin machining oil in a window clean spray bottle,spray dow the bores.

They face the arrow towards the flywheel for less piston slap which is common with vitara pistons at cold start, don't forget to take out the bushing between cylinder 2 and 3 so vtec will work right

ATF and a rag works really well to. Lean and lube the cylinders for insertion of the rods

Can't wait for this thing to be put back in and make some serious power!

PRO TIP!! Always coat the piston skirts before installing. Not just inside the cylinder walls.

Total seal can mod stock rings for zero gapless top compression rings. Ran em in a Vw and loved em. They actually recommended modding a stock set as they were as high or higher quality as what they offered. That was 10 yrs ago but it was like 30$ a ring to mod them at the time.

No block saver in the water jackets to hold in your boost. Head gasket might let go if you throw too much at it ....

Wtf. less than $300 for a stage 5 clutch and a flywheel? I paid $750 for a single mass flywheel and a regular Valeo clutch. damn Hondas are cheap to build.

Please tell me you spun the crank after torqueing down the mains, If not, there might've been oil between the main bearings and crank, which would've let it spin fine with not torqueing them, but when you torque them down the oil will change the main clearances, and then it could've started to bind.

I have a stage 3 Xtd clutch in my gsr turbo swapped ek and it hammers. Been holding strong for over 2 years of abuse

Make sure that ugly catch can is clean because a stuffed up oil separator can prevent the engine from breathing and cause performance issues.

the piston can only go in one way is that the rod pin is not in the center to account for way it rotate

when putting on the oil pan you have to torque them in a pattern

those rods are FAAAAAT that shit its not going to bend/break good luck with the wago!!

Did you deburr the ends of the rings before you put them on the pistons. When you grind them it leaves little burr on the ends.

I was always told when I build engines that when you put the piston in the piston and cylinder walls weren't supposed to have any oil because it had something to do with the rings setting. So does it matter or are you supposed to add oil when you install every piston?
