Seraphim is high-key in the right, he wants to end the reign of the gods who keep messing up peoples lives. Zeus is legitimately a tyrant that does whatever he wants despite the consequences of who gets hurt.

I hoped Seraphim's arc would have ended differently. They developed the character very nicely, and even showed why he ended up being who he is after so much suffering in life. I hoped after all that build up, there would give him some redeeming quality at the end or even gradually. His never ending suffering, even after death was uncomforting to see. Good show though!

I lowkey think Zeus isn’t dead is just regenerating his power like he is zeus he can’t technically die unless the sky dies

I laughed my ass off hearing Hades tell Seraphim to kneel. I'd like to think Zeus is in the afterlife with his queen, when suddenly he's like "huh do you hear that?"

The only thing I didn’t like about this series was how easy it was for the gods to die. Other than that, I loved it.

I literally watched the entire season in a day. More like 3-4 hours STRAIGHT. Can’t wait till next season

The only bad thing about the ending is that it sets up Hades as the next main villain. Its just uninspired.

Blood of Zeus was AMAZING I enjoyed the series a lot I had a few iffy nitpicks with Heron's character tho because he felt more like a side character than a proper protagonist, especially for a son of Zeus since he doesn't do much? It's mostly Alexia or Seraphim that does anything tbh. Thankfully he redeemed himself at the end tho. I was a bit disappointed that Heron didn't use the sword that Zeus made for him as well rip. Even tho I really enjoy it, personally I think Blood of Zeus is good by itself with one season as personally I think it wrapped up rather well in the end, but I wouldn't say no to a season 2 even tho at this point I don't really don't have anymore questions that I need answering next, or know what and whose story they'd focus on/continue on next? If they're gonna make Hades the villain in s2 you've lost my interest, I'm tired of seeing him demonised tbh But who knows we shall see how it goes.

Also Heron and Seraphim have basically the same story as Castor and Pollux. The very twins who, in greek mytology, ispired Zeus to make the gemini constellation.

Not gonna lie I was backing Hera and the seraphim for like 60% of the show. Mainly because almost everything is Zeus’ fault (keep it in your pants man)and heron kinda had it easier compared to his brother since he literally had a God’s favor.

Looks like Hades is going to be the villain again seeing that Seraphim used his bident as well as his dog Cerberus. Why did they have to do that? It's annoying as he is my favorite god in Greek mythology... #notmyHades

I felt that the show was more about Seraphim and less about Heron in the latter episodes. And are we meant to believe that Seraphim was unknowingly working for Hades the whole time? The last episode also left a lot to be desired but I liked the show.

The “paternity test” had me dying. Like dude eye color and two separate placentas doesn’t automatically rule out paternity. 🤣

Its funny how they called themselves “gods” theyre just humans with super powers lol

I felt bad for Zeus and Hera in the end, some men are tomcats and their significant others either got to live with it or leave. In this case Hera decided she wanted the ultimate revenge, Zeus death. But when he ended up sacrificing himself to save her instead, I'm sure she's already regretting that decision. Oh, and bisexual Apollo was a great addition! =)

What a copout to make Hades a villain..my mans just be in the underworld minding his business 😒.

Not gonna lie I liked this alot and the anime looks amazing. I like the story of Heron but also his half brother. It sorta shows what happend on the other side. Also I felt horrible when Hera somehow made sure their mom died. I know she was hurt and wanted vengeance on Zeus but she just took it to a whole new level, really hated it. I hope they make more of this, this is amazing.

So it turns out they plan on having 5 seasons but it’s all depending on how many people watch the first season within the first 30 days so tell your friends to stream it!!! It turns out it’s more about hades, Zeus, and Poseidon and how they split up the lands. Sounds so exciting !!!! I love love love the creators of this show. I love the faces of the characters they draw. It would mean a lot to me to be a voice actor on the show. Don’t even pay me just give me 30% royalties It turns out they are also making He-man and the masters of the universe (the adult version) for NETFLIX. Phil Lamar will be a voice actor and mark hamil as skeletor. It’s directed by Kevin smith. I can’t wait to see what it looks like

I feel sorry for Hera I didn't get mad or happy when she got to the end, but I kinda understand her feeling by being cheated on her so many times. In the end it was her left by her felt that what she had done she lost her husband lost her hand and lost the place. Everything is started from Zeus :(

I love my man Hades just chilling with his bud the Poor Undervitamin hunchback, trolling Seraphim. Lol poor seraphim. Goodboi mowgli doing wrong choices.

I'm real tired of Hera being cast as jealous. Hera was a very cheated on goddess. She actually loved Zeus or she wouldn't have given a damn. That was the problem. This kind of showed that more because Hera was half crying the whole time even as she plotted against him; she was a broken heart made flesh and power. The others knew it too. One of the other gods even muttered "Why can't he keep it in his pants?" (And I died.) And even his own brother told him he must be a fool to anger her. The whole war that basically turned everyone against each other based on who wasn't a bastard of Zeus, everything that happened to the twins and their mothers, all of it was Zeus's fault. I'm curious to see where it goes and now that the war between Zeus and Hera isn't the main plot line if they can flesh out the other gods and characters a little more. And maybe we finally get to see Heron use the damn sword!

From what I've seen Zeus is still the source of the conflict.

Glad Hermes had a good amount of screen time in this series...Definitely my number one favorite Greek God.

Part of me hopes to see more Greek Heros in season 2. Maybe Perseus or Achilles.

This is the only Adaption of greek mythology I come across so far, where they acknowledge, that Hermes is a psychopomp

Can we talk about how Hera was such a good villain like I hated her so much because she always literally ruined anything lol and that was good since she was the villain maybe she will be back in season 2?

I was waiting to see Hades in the show and then they hint at him being the bad guy in season 2. I hope that's not the case.

You forgot to mention Hera escaping the battle.

It's pretty based but I liked how the giants were inspired by other mythological monsters like scylla and typhon

I almost complained about how much of a dull character heroine was but then I realized that the entire series was not really about heroine but was about Zeus and HERA.

Am I the only one who appreciates that Heron didn't use the sword? If he did it would be too predictable and boring, a hero is strong by himself not by tools.

Why do say Hera is a jealous person. You mean she's tired of his cheating and is always forced to except it. How she goes about revenge isn't right and she wants acknowledgement that her feelings matter. Now we have a situation of the children taking the punishment of the parents mistakes.

Hera is angry and jealous. Her husband is Zeus. I think anger is justified.

Best part of the show was Hera. Everything about her character from her design to mannerisms, character arc was perfect. Also I think she was scarier than the giants.

A hint that hades is going to be the villain because of the cepherus the three headed dogs that seraphin had control over and his trident too

Zeus and Poseidon were underpowered. Like c’mon. Zeus is the king of the gods and Poseidon is his equal. And they’re supposed to be losing to fucking Hera? LoL

I genuinely didn’t like this show especially the animation, it just seemed clunky and it didn’t really flow well in movement

I was waiting for Hades to show up the entire time I watched this show. So glad he finally did at the end. Now, I think him claiming he could save Seraphim from his fate by Seraphim kneeling was Hades just tormenting him further, so I really don't think Hades will end up being the villain of Season 2. The creators have such a great knowledge of these characters, that they should understand that Hades isn't a villain. He just minds his own business in the Underworld. If they get it wrong though, I won't be happy.

This show should be called The God's Side Babies... lol. This entire series was about Hera's hate for Zeus's side babies. As R. Kelly said, "When a Woman is Fed Up"...

The overall story seemed rushed. It needed at atleast 4 more episodes of character and world building.

It was so awesome and brilliant this series, I hope we actually see in action to Athena for the next season, I mean she was literally Zeus' favorite daughter, goddess and right hand in the Greek Mythology.

There’s nothing subtle about the scene at the end, because we literally have flashbacks to where Zeus tells Heron to look inward, and scenes where Seraphim is letting his vengeance take control. Still a touching scene but I think your giving it a little to much credit.

They made Hera the villain, but from the very start it is Zeus

I have a theory Zeus and hera did not die, they faked their deaths, ran off to hide together then made amends.

I watched this thinking I missed something but I didn't. I just didn't care about anyone in this show or anything that happened from beginning to end. Just another story of "Zeus ruins everything by not keeping it in his pants." I feel like Hera and Seraphim were justified in their actions and Haron doesn't have any meaningful development whatsoever. And neither does Zeus for that. This is just my opinion, but oh my god I just did not care. I almost stopped watching halfway through, but decided to tough it out in case it got better. I don't wanna anger anyone, but why did anyone enjoy this? It feels like such a downgrade after Castlevania.

I ship Heron/Alexia like I ship Trevor/Sypha. Let’s go, season 2. Make it happen.

Not really a small detail but the giants that help Zeus and the Gods look like a Hecatoncheires and a Cyclops, the ones who helped the Olympians in the Titanomachy

Heron reminds me of Eren from AOT with the fact that his anger pushes him forward yet holds him back at the same time.

I hope they have Prometheus, Atlas, Hercules, Icarus etc to future episodes

I have an idea for a potential villain for next season. How about Nyx? She’s as old as the universe itself and is actually feared by Zeus in Greek mythology. That or Typhon? He’s been said to be the most dangerous monster in all of Greek mythology. Honestly they have so many options and it would suck to see them go down the cliche Hades route.

The strongest giant was the one that shot laser beams out her mouth. She was too OP! Clapping the gods like they were nothing 😂😂
