The first one is my favorite based solely on atmosphere, world building and enemy design/variety.

I remember being a kid and renting this game from a video store. Sadly only had the chance to finish the first chapter of the first BR game . Got the revamped editions on pc and slowly playing through them . I wouldn't mind a new game or a remaster .

The appeal was booba. She was even in Playboy Magazine in that girls from videogames issue.

While we lost Rayne in Bloodrayne franchise we got something similar to that of Serena from Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Either way, both voiced by Laura Bailey and both characters are female vampires.

I loved these games so much as a kid and absolutely blame Uwe Boll's movies for killing the franchise

The first 2 are my favorite PS2 games I loved them. Betrayal I liked but just nowhere near as well as the other two

The fmv's for this game are really what made the first two games for me. They were insane back in 02 when the first one came out.

I dunno why but combat felt way more fluent, fast and fun in the first game. It's hard to put a finger on it. Abilities were more interesting in the second game, but I would've preffered non target approach to combat from the first because lock-on in the sequel was clunky and weird. Devs improved on the game a lot, but a lot of features was lost and some were pretty good like ability to drink the blood of enemies that are on the ground.

Very interesting video! Happy I found this. I love the style and feel of the games, but I struggled to play the originals since the awful camera controls gave me motion sickness--I'm probably going to try out the remasters on the PC or Switch. I hope there is a Bloodrayne 3 in the future with a more modern take on the same premise.

They were some of my favorite old school games. Also loved playing Heavy Metal FAKK 2.

The first two Bloodrayne games are just meant to be schlocky fun. And unfortunately would not be made today without heavy editing by the puritans for “modern audiences”. It didn’t dawn on me until watching your video that Nathan Vetterlein(haven’t played these in years) was in this. But, you should look up another early 2000s gem called Roadkill. It was an early Grand Theft Auto type game. In it were these radio stations you would listen to and they were hilarious. He and Laura Bailey were both in it like Bloodrayne. Definitely worth checking out.

I just replaying both the 1 and 2, this is one of those games which definitely worth a replay after almost 20 years. Both starts up differently one with zombies one on that ball then ending up with the nazis

Recently l've played for the first time Bloodrayne 1 & 2 because I liked Betrayal, I feeled that the first game mechanic wise was a mix of Goldeneye64 with Tombraider, the Guns were super situational to use, you only needed them with the enemies that could guard from sucking and the final Boss, really fun to play for a 3d plataformer, Bloodrayne 2 on the other hand was a game destroyed by the Harpoon mechanic, you just can't end this game without using it on a regular basis, feels so bad that the sequel was mutilated for the sake of looking fresh, but being honest most players would play it just for the eyecandy

Since gungrave was allowed to come back from the dead, I hope bloodrayne can follow suit and get a new game. I wouldn't care if it's low budget or unpolished if it's still fun

I'm...genuinely hopeful for a new BloodRayne. I don't know what they'll do. I mean, you can't really reintroduce a franchise with "You Are The QUEEN OF THE VAMPIRE APOCALYPSE", so...something set between 1&2 again?

I just bought the Terminal Cuts of Bloodrayne 1 & 2 off Steam and thankfully the games work well on the Steam Deck. Though I best recommend adjusting the game's controls and button inputs to work properly on the Steam Deck from the options menu. 🔫🧛‍♀️⚔️

Sandman, the video is cool and well done, but it is Svetlana, not whatever you were pronouncing, and is Enthrall, not Ethranall. xD I call attention to this not to be a dick but if the word flashes on screen while you misspronounce it makes the mistake quite noticeable.

At one time in history BloodRayne was on top of the world and could do no wrong. Rayne was really viewed as the next Tomb Raider but with blood and an edge.

I hate platforming games with a passion.. Sucks the fun out of the game! That's the one thing I hate about Doom Eternal and Titan Fall 2.

I haven't played the first one yet and I just bought the first one and I have to buy an Xbox but when I get my my Xbox I'm going to play the first one I played the second one like 15 years ago this guy is just whining I never seen such a cry baby who cried baby well it's not a good game and it's not this and it's not stop whining blood rain one I haven't played yet but blood drain too I played and it's a good game it's hard it's difficult it takes strategy to fail explanation point it takes strategy to do this game. Are there powers that don't make sense the rage doesn't make sense to do only when you're like fighting real tough opponents there's a slow down power I think that's part of rage you can slow down time it helps you from getting shot for one sticky situations you can even use your chain in that situation and throw your your dominatrix ladies into those airplane blades yeah it helps and you do your jump spinning kick over the top spinning kick which you need to do and you got to do your roundhouse kicks to spinning kick to get the shovels out of the hands if you try to feed from the front they're going to slam you on the ground and hit you with the shovel. So is this blood rain too a bad game it's the first one probably a bad game I'm going to play it when I get my console it's probably not one more I see looks fun. Is it a really good game I mean what makes really good game the graphics are good you have characters in a storyline and you got good finishing moves what else do you need in the blood is is top notch and the killing finishing killing moves are the best you get to raise your characters on your sword up in the air and slice them in half who doesn't like that. Who doesn't? Who agrees with me one blood rain is probably one of the best and blood rain 2 is the best game ever. Office time. A classic. No question? Who questions it I don't no questions asked.
