Agree. He could've just kill them when he had a chance and his problem is over. But I am guessing it's probably because of that 1% chance that she may be his child. He did say "Find them? So you can kill all your possible fathers?" Since she may be his child he didn't want to kill her with his own hands. Hence you will see him trying to kill Taigen but just keeps running from Mizu
