Ill have to buy one in a few weeks. Right now I'm trying to get a common Amazon ESC to move a small motor with an Arduino and I'm getting nowhere with it. I can hear it click every few seconds so I think its getting some level of power, but nothing has worked so far... This would be great to have. Something more purpose built for robotics, not RC planes or cars.

You can use a lithium-ion battery like this: bluerobotics.com/store/comm-control-power/powersupplies-batteries/battery-li-4s-15-6ah/#tab-learn. There are a lot of lithium batteries available and most that are 14.8V (4s) and at least 10Ah will work well with the thruster. On a kayak, you could also consider a 12V deep cycle marine battery, which is pretty affordable and has a lot of capacity, but is also heavy. @@ignacypaulinek9737 For the T200, we recommend batteries between 12-18V, such as a 4s lithium ion battery or a 12v lead acid battery, than can provide at least 25A for each thruster that it is powering.
@@hobielim9797 The 3-pin connectors on the potentiometers are reversible, so if turning a knob runs the motors the wrong way, the connector can be reversed to correct the problem.
