If I were to build out a van - this is what I'd use instead of complicated electrical systems. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I have looked everywhere to try to learn how to plug in/charge my Bluetti with solar panels. I absolutely know nothing about electricity, so was afraid to just start plugging things in and see if that's the right plug-in...lol. But I couldn't find anything that would show me what to plug in where. Finally!! Thank you!!

The AC200Max is a beast...I have the AC200P and this unit you have here is the next step up from that....Whats nice about this unit is it has the 30 amp plug outlet on it where mine does not...This unit will Run just about anything living on the road in a van...I use it as a backup in my Motorhome for things like electric blanket when boondocking and to run a second portable fridge i keep my beer and dog food in ( i cook for my little buddy, silly me) which keeps me from filling up my RV fridge....I have 2 different Bluetti's and love them both for what i use them for....For my money, Bluetti and perhaps EcoFlow are the best bang for your buck....

@@storychasing some things are just worth the money. I'm it's a feeling of security. If I decide to do van life for a couple of years I would get one. I'm sure it's cheaper than a house payment, taxes, and insurance. Sounds great to me.

Just bought one to power our 18 yr old 35' class A. Plan to recover the $2500 Cdn by boondocking instead of campgrounds on our 5 month inaugural snowbird trip south next winter. A lot cheaper then building a system and more importantly for me, idiot proof!! Gives you peace of mind and independance! Well worth the price.

I just went from a class c to a class b and am really struggling with space. Where where do you store this Bluetti and the insta pot and the juicer and clothes and bedding etc etc. perhaps a video on where you store things would be very helpful.

Question- we live Fl and lost power for 4 days will it run the refrigerator in my house for 4 days off one charge? Question #2 how may feet is the charging solar cord? Wondering if it would reach out side while still hooked up to fridge

I love my Bluetti! Until I get a bigger van, I power everything in my SUV off a 600W model. My power has run everything. I have mini egg cooker and crock.pot buth are 300w so yes I can use them. In addition to my DC coffee maker and DC frying pan. I love those solar connections. I was able to get a Dolan panel 200w that wasn't Bluetti to charge my power bank. I'll definitely get a larger bank when I get my van. Tfs

I took advantage of Bluetti's black friday sale to order their AC300 & B300. I am rebuilding my van, and my old system with 300 AH battleborn's & 2500 W inverter will go into our motorhome. We'll use the Bluetti as dual purpose for emergency power at the house when the van's not on the road.

Great information, Amber. I recently started researching power stations for our Travato and also to use as a backup for our home. We were without power for 68 hours during the Texas Snowmageddon a couple of years ago. It was miserable. This power station would have really come in handy. I will check out your link. Thank you!

It only replaces a dog bone. Inverter has its limits. That limit is closer to 20 amps.

Keep in mind that the TOTAL AC power output limit is about 2200 watts continuous. That's less than 19 amps at 120 volts. The "30 amp" RV/Van receptacle, consequently, is not capable of delivering 30 amps.

Hey Amber, love the review, thks! Just bought one and am looking for the most efficient panels to feed it. We have an 18 yr old 35 ft class A and I can't decide between portable panels or fixed rigid glass. Any ideas? Would eventually like 1000 watts.

This video just came across my feed. I had been previously researching power stations for a few months. I bought an AC200Max to power up my off grid mobile home. It is an older mobile and it was on an old homestead i purchased. The mobile was vandalized and they tried pulling the wiring out of it. Even though it wasnt copper wire. So as i rebuilt the mobile i just cut all the original wiring and outlets out of it. Now when go up to work on the mobile, i bring the power station and it powers. My electric blanket for sleeping. Recharges my battery powered tools, my phone, and my bluetooth speaker. 👍🏾

This review is wonderful. I am not at all familiar with how much power things use. Getting ready to start car camping to rest the waters for full time van life. I use a CPAP and must have something that can power it all night long and easily recharge for use on a daily basis. I just do t know if this would be over kill or if I can get away with a smaller unit. Time to call my CPAP company to find out how many watts it uses! 😉

Get another AC charger and you can use two chargers at the same time. One connects to the solar in. (Change mode in menu). Might want to have more battery so charge rate doesn’t degrade the battery.

I recreational camp in an Aframe and I got a bluetti for dual purpose. I use it when I camp but I also use it in emergencies at home. A few years ago there was a huge derecho that took out a lot of gas stations. So even if you had a gas generator you couldn't find gas for a few days. All I wanted was a fan and a small fridge during that time, the bluetti can do that for me.

I bought an AC200 and still use it over 2 years ago. I also recommended the Bluetti for home or RV needs. It is heavy and needs a designated storage. We have a small dolly for ours. Ours is part of our emergency kit.
