So, basically anytime any situation BVR or using radar guided on more than two aircraft go TWS..unless there is some advantage to RWS im missing ? TWS just seems to be better in every way.
This may be a little off topic, but.... I'd like to know how people get the HUD on the screens while panning outside of the aircraft....is it a Track IR only thing? or is this something i can setup with my BMS?
The helmet mounted cueing system is activated by a rotary knob by your left knee under the rwr power buttons, I think that is what is being discussed, if you are talking about the mfd extraction that can be done through a variety of programs including the native extractor in bms. If however your talking about the overlays of the MFDs, that is just an overlaid screen capture is the extractions over top of the BMS game window done with the screen capture software, you don’t see em when flying. Im not sure I explained it all in enough detail but that should be close enough to have google take you the last mile.
To fire an Amraam, make sure you are holding down the pickle button for several seconds rather than just clicking the button like you would with a sidewinder
