At 12:26 you mention the DMC, Digital Maneuvering Cue, the degrees the target has to turn to go from high to nominal termination, where the missile is less potent at nominal termination. How does the pilot make use of the DMC to decide on firing a missile at the target?

Did you make your own TE for this example? BMS doesn't seem to come with any of the AA training missions.
