S55 with equal length exhaust sounds better imo. Even a stock S55, i grew to like it because it sounds like a classic Bmw M i6. I used to hate it! Reminds me of the older engines like the M50, S50/S54, and whatnot. Single turbo S55 sounds like an N55, but can sound even better as it can rev higher (7600rpm completely stock) and even higher when tuned.
@@beastybiggy3642 if it's the 430i, then yeah, easily, extra litre of displacement and extra turbo. If it's the 435i, maybe both around 400hp but it's got nothing on the B58 in the 440i. It's a stupid quick car either way, it's the only one of those mentioned above with xDrive in the UK so it launches HARD
@@MannyVQ MPPSK also replaces the resonator, plus when in sports+ it opens the valves to bypass the mufflers internal routing which dampens the sound, so in theory this guy could be running a turbo back straight pipe setup
It's crazy how the B58 even sound better than the S58 😂😂😂, S58 is a monster no doubt but heard one the other day with downpipe and sound like a kid running on some zinc
Manny Vq the amount of times I've seen you on the road in your g35 bro in brampton 😂😂😂 I need a flamethrowing beast like that, not a 2020 straight piped hyundai elantra 😭
@@MannyVQ sometimes going down Williams pkwy, sometimes missisauga rd, once saw you parked up at the Walmart on missisauga rd and Williams pkwy 😂 veterans dr near my area, oh and my friend has seen you in that Buick area too lmao he bought a g37 cuz of you
The big difference in between M performance exhaust or the MPPSK is that the M performance is just the axle back and it keeps both mid pipes resonators and NO valves on it and keeps the same performance peaks from stock and adds at least 10-12hp if so, the MPPSK it is a full cat back system it brings the mid pipes without any type of resonators and both sides are valve controlled and comes with his own tune from Bmw and adds 35hp and the tech add a metal plate on the engine covers with the M Power Kit on it, 2 years of warranty, both sounds awesome But the MPPSK like it’s a valve controlled system it gives you way more control on the overall system, when in comfort mode it’s almost the same to stock except a little deeper unless u rev it up over 4K rpm then opens the valves and screams but if u select Sport or Sport+ it wakes up the Monster and crackles and burbles are awesomely addictive. 👍🏆☑️
This is probably the best noise i've heard from a car, along with the m3 e46 CSL intake and lamborghini murcielago v12 in MY personal opinion. Infact, i have a 440i GC myself, and would love to get this tone, just maybe a bit quieter? anyone knows how?
Love the vid, I have been debating whether I want to go catless or catted. Can you post a vid of what it sounds like with comfort mode? Also do you have the m performance exhaust set up?
well either way it becomes more raspy in comfort, But in sport the exhaust explosions get slighty deeper with more raspyness i just installed mine on the mpe
@@gabrielissa6177MPE for some reason rasp’s even harder than MPPSK with catless. Dealing with the same issue with my car. My buddies MPPSK sounds smoother
Is this a stock exhaust and just added downpipes? I just got the m340 and I ordered a downpipes but couldn't find any exhaust you think it will still be loud?
Should respect the neighbourhood and areas. I've some loud cars but never floor it in build up areas and i wouldn't appreciate when some idiots do the same outside my street when i am home too.
