Song Title & Artist Information is showing in my 2011 E90 whit CIC proff but it will not update when chaning song when using my Pixel 7 Pro. It's realy annoying. :(

Great video. I cannot find an update for the CIC software? BMW site says there is an error? When was your last update? I may have to go to the dealership? I need an update for a 2011 e93
My version was: MX-003.004.031 TX-003.004.031 I just did some research and was able to find file UPD01008.bin which updated my CIC to: MX-003.005.004 TX-003.005.008
Thank You for the follow up. I have read the thread and will look into it. Interestingly enough, I was at the BMW dealership today. I asked if they could update the entertainment system. He was reluctant. He said it may damage the system “Blank the screen” or “effect the memory”? Plus he said they charged $325.00 😂. He suggested 3rd party solution for Apple CarPlay? I will look into this update. My version is: MX-002.005.025 TX-002.005.025 I cannot sync at all, but it will answer calls via the iDrive despite saying there “Is no Bluetooth connection”. Perplexing. I hope it’s just the old version i have. Again thanks 😊
