change your title. You did not change the regulator. that was the help i was looking for, not 12 plus minutes of not doing what your said you were going to do.

Excellent !! On my dtr's e36 325i. I bent them back best I could, put new tabs on, lined up both of those tracks carefully, and still had issue, until I found an adjustment bolt on the regulator itself , that allowed it to rotate a little this gave perfect realignment .

Hi, how do you reprogram the window motor. I unplugged my battery while fixing the windows regulator. Now my window goes up and down in little inching movements. Thanks for the help.

nice tutorial. the e30 has those fLimsy handle trim pieces as well--near impossible to find and keep unbroken

I have a IX, XIT and a 318ti so I can remove the door panels with my eyes closed :(. Keep up the great vids ! Thank you !

Once those regulator arms are bent,even slightly,the whole regulator will need to be replaced.Yes you can bend them back to be as straight as possible and then fit the window which will appear to work fine......and it will work for a while until it fails again,which it WILL, because they are made of the shittiest low quality steel BMW could lay their hands on.Thanks BMW!
