UPDATE: my unit had some wierd issue with the chip overheating? And burning through the box. I think these units might have some QC issues as some reviews for other CarPlay units are similar. At a loss on what to do as it was over $800 and it’s gone within a year or so :( Got this unit a few months ago , had such a hard time with install due to my ignorance I didn’t watch the fuse section at the end. Months on, works amazing with absolutely no issues and the car is 10x more modern and makes everything much more easy when driving. Cheers xx

Hey!! My idrive doesn’t turn on at all, it flashes a blank screen then shuts back off. Will this still work?

My ccc module does not work flashing screen no music Navi and so on absolutely nothing can I replace it with this module if so where are you located for installation

Still can't figure out the audio. I reposition the optic cable to new harness..can't figure it out

I have one of these units installed on my 2012 e92, works great other than the audio. It keeps skipping when listening to music via apple car play, works fine with the radio. The head unit audio is directly connected to the oem aux input. Xtrons has been little to no help with this issue, wounding if anyone else has had this issue

I installed one of these, but the CCC screen resolution is too low. Should go for the one with hi res screen replacement.

Right after a lot of messing about I’ve got my unit running, however when in carplay I cannot select anything with my scroll wheel, all I can do is scroll and hit menu to go back. Any ideas on how to solve this?

Hi! I have just upgraded my iPhone from a 6S to a 13… and the Bluetooth with my e90 320D BMW (2008?) is dodgy. It is slow to connect, drops out. And then sometimes it works perfectly. Is this the fix? Is this the right module? Where are you? Do you do installs?

Just installed a box like this and now the idrive unit doesn’t power on at all. Have gone back to factory quad lock and still nothing. Which fuses would I need to check?

Does the CarPlay affect music quality for better? And does it have a different eq mix then the oem radio?
