Hi i have n47 320d 184 only cold engine ticking 1500-2000 rpm after heating little ticking Turbo new Timing chain before 80000 km replaced Dpf blocked I thing hyraulic lifter or timing chain i dont know Pls help
Hi i am a mechanic my car bmw x1 finally engine rebuild ok but engine acceleration very wind type noise and no paip leek and no turbo failed and no more accessible wind type noise creat i have a full confused how how how acceleration 2000 rpm wind type noise creat plz help full advice.
exhaust manifold has a crack, and /or gasket leaking? Has done many BMW with this problem when on acceleration has whistling / windy noise. . . Also check turbo to manifold gasket , also blocked DPF filter can blow even new gasket....
I have 30k with the balance shafts out. I'll keep you updated . Under 200km or 150miles and the age of these cars please just replace it and dont buy a new car. its worth it!
@@xiukn8 Lol euhm I use it for work a lot. After 20k kilometers as of my last post and two tire switches because of the winter. I can only say it just feels more like a diesel. What a beautifull engine. The revs at 3rd gear around 1700 just gives a slight rumble. .But other than that It feels a little less idle when speeding up. But really all i felt before and after was that my clutch trembled a little bit more. Its just the details. Above 2000CC I do not recommend it tho. Unless its 6cill because those are balanced by phsyics. TL;DR No drop off oil pressure without balance shafts in this engine. lmao.
