The upshift exhaust farting noise of dct is a big reason why I don't like them not worth .2 of a second 0 to 100kph imo. Also moving away from Audi/VW across to bmw because they've dropped manual option from their range. Manual M2 competition will be my next car for sure, one that I'll keep and look into single turbo conversion after 4 to 5 years of ownership. Surely by then there'll be some good development on the motors. Air suspension as well.

The pain is real mate and it hurts bad....as long as you are working your way there to suppress the pain.

Your car has the 6 and 4 pistons M brakes upgrade. How did they compare to Joe's standard 4 and 2 pistons setup? Noisy?

nes suno to be honest we were not driving hard enough to really notice any difference. Other than the obvious reduced brake fade but you would only really notice on a track or very hard driving.

Damian Ciesielski I think joes suspension is a bit stiffer but not back breaking. A little compromise for great looks and a bit more handling performance. Doesn’t compromise ride comfort that much mate

Joe Achilles plus the concave on the standard wheels look so much better. I chose standard wheels on my manual M4 instead of comp wheels. S55 with a manual for the win. Also get Ricky in to hoon your m2 comp with traction off 😉

Matthew Coleman lol, it was but the mount probably picked up dirt from being moved around the car. Need to make sure they are always clean. I’ve had them fall off a couple of times this time of year 😂

If the manual shift was good it would be a difficult decision, but the shift is both wobbly and notchy.

Feel not sensitivity. I got my wheel changed while my car was on standard suspension and it immediately added more feel.

I plan to do that with the new generation end of this year hopefully 👌

Joe Achilles i fear many will do it for you 😜 I had my fun, time to calm down, be a bit more ecological and save tons of money in the proces👍🏻 (the smart part) I don't know the driving costs in youre country, but an M3 yearly costs me about 8800€ all in. A 330e or I3s about 1300€ yearly. Do the math over a period of 10 years 😉

User 1888 Switzerland is a nice place to be. Im from Belgium. Our inscurance is highly influenced by how old you are and how many accidents you made at your own fault. Our inscurance rating goes from 10+ untill -2 which is the lowest on our inscurance agency. Im 41 years old and i am at -2 and did not have an accident for at least 10 years. If you are the age of 20 and have a accident yearly, then you can triple the amount of insurancy money easy. To drive such a sportscar in our country you need to be of age, hard working man keeping accidents low, or a rich kid that gets it from drugmoney or mommy and daddy that doesn't know the real value of the car and money. I can say i love my M3 because in our country many think it is for rich people which is not true , also loved my M135i and M140i xdrive and worked hard for it to get it, i can say i had it and no one can take that away from me, but also time to slow down and go for a I3s and save me yearly 7400€ 😉👍🏻

Although a DCT is logically thinking just better at everything, so Idk 😐

The M240i uses a ZF 8 speed Auto, not the DCT. Depends what you want, RWD with a LSD will be most enjoyable, xDrive (not available in the UK) will be a great all year round car, especially with winters on during the cold months 👌

@@TropiQz I would assume for the dct since it has more gears and changes more often. My m4 manual sits at like 3.5k at freeway speeds I would think a extra gear would help alot with fuel economy

My work car 7 series (I'm a chauffeur) and my M2. I'm probably refering to all the press cars I get throughout the year...

Body reinforcements, for safety and rigidity. Big heavy engine, rear drive axles and diff.... Regarding the big brake kit, it's a matter of finding the right wheel model. Sure there's a 18" wheel that fits. In other cars with bbk's is doable.

Have you tried a M2 Comp in manual? Mine is brilliant full stop....
