@@SquirrelVonUndZuGucci A Dacia is far nicer than a Model 3 interior wise. A Model 3 literally has the worst interior of any car on the market right now I think, regardless of price. Really I can't think of a car that has a cheaper interior than a Model 3, every small city cars like the Renault Clio or VW Polo have much higher quality interiors.

@@CouldUseARide I didn't notice but the volvo s60 was basically was using it's engine instead of the battery sense it was almost fully depleted, which tbh is fair cause the weight difference from the T6 and T8 as if the battery was fully charged it would be a lot faster, btw the european market gets the mild hybrid on all of there engines in 2022 and up.

It’s the 2nd lowest BHP in there... my guess is that it has more intake vents, a slightly better aerodynamic design, a vastly superior ECU & well engineered launch control that even the whopping 600NM TQ s4 couldn’t match up against. Also it’s super light lol ~3.4k lbs is a lil go kart if it’s packing ~380BHP.

The stock M3 dynos at 420+hp at the wheels so I would say it it probably the most powerful car here. BMW underrated it, as always. Just look at the finish, there is no way in hell it does 12.7s 1/4mile with 374hp.

Have you considered the fact that a slightly wobbly console might reduce rattling in the long-term because it may be designed with slight movement in mind? Don't think that I'm disagreeing with your car choice, I would absolutely get the BMW if I were shopping in this segment; but judging build quality by how much the center console moves is an absolute dogshit benchmark to me.

The m340i is a really incredible car. Its power is also understated. I believe BMW has it listed as low 4s 0-60, but it has been tested as fast as 3.8 secs... and it's not even the full M model.

ZQ DDD be careful got a m340i late November car was bricked before I could even drive out the showroom, software had to be wiped and reinstalled to remove drivetrain fault code, funny thing was there was an over the air software update as I was setting up the car before it bricked, hence recall could be pushed on to you remotely

common fact grats on the new toy, yea they do have some over the air upgrade but my software version is still on March 2019 which they deliver those cars with more than 390hp in us and Canada. So far we had three recalls two related to the software updated(emission recall which will lower the hp to 382hp as states on the website and the back up camera lighting issue) and they could only done by dealer’s computer and I have refused to do it cuz I don’t wanna lose that small 8hp lol. third one is the second battery issue which has been fixed during my first service.

The B58 motor is a little gem. The internals are strong and can handle a good tune without issue, it sounds fantastic and is smooth as silk. In the German car world the 3 Series, as ordinary as it can look, is one of the best compact premium vehicles out there. Solid package from the factory.

I think it was a Freudian slip. I think what Mat meant was that the Volvo kicked the gear UP to 4th (as he said at 5:30), since he was holding the revs up for a good amount of time in, I presume, 3rd gear. This seems to be a common issue with some cars, even in manual mode, the transmission will revert back to auto after awhile. My Hyundai does this exact same thing (under the right conditions; eg, have not shifted in awhile, on a flat grade, etc.) and it irks me because of it. I think Mat flipped the left (down) paddle instinctively to try to force it to stay in 3rd gear.

Twisted Sanity it’s why I haven’t purchased a new Volvo.. I have a XC70 with a real proper T6 engine and I polestar tuned it with 270,000 miles. Off the line the new Volvo’s polestar S60 T6 probably would pull me briefly but after maybe 1/16th of a mile I would freight train them. Once my turbo is spoiled up and I’m beyond the initial point of tires scrambling for grip it will freight train these new Volvo’s. I know the normal fully loaded S60 T6 (non polestar) gets destroyed by my car because I have done a drag race with a neighbor of mine at a local strip we private rented out for a half hour. He was so convinced his brand new fully loaded S60 with T6 package would destroy my “tired old XC70” as he calls it.. and I absolutely freight trained him after his great launch. Below 13 seconds and nearly 130 MPH vs him failing to even hit 115MPH and getting around 13.6 seconds 1/4 mile.

1991julez yeah I’m a big Audi Fan and this S4 is fucking embarrassing. They can do better but need to bend under climate pressure here and there. I’m glad it’s not the top of the rock in Audi’s Stock.

@@eventusvantos2770 the M340i has the same engine like the Supra. After youy put some nice exhaust on the Supra (or 340i) it sounds insane and better than the E53.

@@bamphmx-5548 no it doesn't. M340i and supra sound like ricer fartboxes. E53 sounds amazing. And you can't compare modified. Stock for stock e53 is far better sounding. Put a custom Exhaust on the e53 too and it will sound even better than the m340i even with its modified exhaust.
