It was a defining moment in White Zombie's career, when a million viewers discovered them on Beavis and Butthead. Rob Zombie mentioned it in a Larry King interview how his band's popularity just surged after that.
Its a damn shame the band couldn't hold it together long enough to do another record after Astro-Creep: 2000. Rob Zombie's music hasn't been the same ever since.
David Jillson I loved watching Headbangers ball every Saturday night with my sister when Jamey Jasta hosted it. MTV has gone to shit since they took it off the air.
If MTV didn't want to air the episode "Home improvement" (where this video came off of) anymore, then why couldn't they just move this video to a later episode like that Halloween Special a couple years later. Edie Brickwell and Biz Markie videos did. This video rocks.
Is* so hot. She used to come into a record store I worked at in LA. She would chat music with the employees and buy a stack. She signed a WZ album and we hung it up.
Beavis and butthead are true heroes for promoting underground, underrated metal bands like white zombie. I owe it all to BnB for getting me into this band and many more!
I loved this video when it came out (not the BN'B version) and Mtv never really played it, opting for "Thunderkiss 65" (which I also love) but I always loved this video and song and think it should have gotten more airplay!.. The memories are fuzzy, but I think this is the first WZ video I saw!?...Gotta love the intro/outro by Iggy Pop!..
I don't think it's a good idea for beavis and butthead to take their *eye balls* out, unless they have *anatomical liberation* to take them out of their skulls at *anytime,* as *mentioned* starting at 1:47.👀🤔😂
