Bobcat Engine Removal Process

when I worked at bobcat we pulled the entire cradle out , took the exhaust and radiator out and would bolt a chain down as tight as we could get it then use a cherry picker , first one took me 2.5 days , but after doing a couple of them i was able to pull the assembly , swap the engine and have it bolted back in , in 8 hours , then top off the fluid and test run it the following morning

Supermaning those back engine bolts looked like a real uncomfortable challenge. I like fixing things, but get irritated when I have to get cramped to do it. 🤯

I used to have 2002 773 - great machine, I just upgraded to T630 because wheel machine getting easy stuck on soft ground, also weight balance on wheel and track on skid steer- 2 different worlds

Looking forward to the followup video. I'm in the process of putting a v2203 of unknown origin (probably a generator) into my 751 in place of the dreaded Peugeot and have been trying to piece together what I need based on parts diagrams etc.

Thats my exact machine, really love it. Man you really made that look easy. Almost makes me want to take mine out just for kicks and grins. Maybe to pressure wash all those nooks and crannies. Keep the videos coming. Stay safe. Jeff

Back to visit you again. After changing the head, I found out the block is bad, so out comes the engine. I SO don't look forward to this. With a dead engine, I can't raise the front out of the way, so even worse. And I don't know what I am doing.

Thanks! I’ve got to pull the v-3300 out of my s-220 next week. So far I fount bent push rod , 2 loose valves. 3800 hrs. Bobcat wants 12k for a rebuild, is that the best way to go? Thanks

Good video, sound quality was good too, thank you. My daughter and I just finished up exchanging engines in her Bobcat 753 C-Series. This was our first, thank God it’s finished, I’m not a fan of working in tight spaces. We are all smiles now and finding out the other issues with her 753. The issue we are having is the travel speed forward is slower than reverse, is that normal? Also, the left control forward is jerky. The pump seems to have good flow, the right side is smooth forward and reverse. Could this be a wheel motor issue? Thank you in advance! God bless. Tripp located south of Atlanta, Ga.

Great videos. I have a question on a Bobcat 742b. How many bolts hold the engine in. It's a Mitsubishi 4G32 engine. There is so much mud and oil clogging the inside I can't tell if there are only two or four. I took the two out (the door side of the engine) but can't tell for the life of me if there are two more inside further? love it if you could help me out with this one. Thanks

Where is your video swapping parts from the old motor to the new reefer motor?

HowIDidIt. I have a 751 with a V1903-e Kubota engine. All the bolts for the fly wheel have sheared off I was able to removal all the broken bolts from the Crankshaft. Some of the threads in the crank are stripped. What Would You Recommend To Fix The Crankshaft? Any input would be Appreciated!

Where can I find the video of the parts swapped to the refer engine. I am wondering about the governor. Is the Bobcat gov a constant speed gov? Is the refer engine speed limiting gov? Or vise versa? Or are they the same. Did you switch the gov parts?

Did your new (used) engine have the oil dipstick on the proper side? My 753 has the v2203e and the dipstick is on the backside of the block!? Maybe someone switches engines at some point. Is there anything I can do to get dipstick on the proper side so I don’t have to reach around the engine to check the oil!? Thanks for any help

I gotta pull the engine to replace the oil pan and turbo on a 2000s 873 with a duetz. I’m assuming this is a similar procedure as with your machine any advice would be helpful

I have to take mine out of my 753 Bobcat a 96 model. just to replace the fuel tank because it's leaking . so I would need to remove it just like you did ? will I need a service manual aswell?

Is the same fly wheel ring gear the same as a751 ring gear thanks
