It is recommended to shave the night before so it could have been too soon. I advise you show and ask the therapist that did your treatment x

Have you tried changing your diet? Not sure what your diet consist of but I cut all sugars, including fruit, and carbs out of my diet and it helped balance my hormones. The excess facial and body hair I had pretty much shed off.

@@bliaher9839 I got this problem three months ago. I did all the searching. Mr kidney, Mr pituitary. Other hormones. My cycles are neat. I don't know what happened, only my whole body started to hair and my hair was falling. I drink inofolic. D Vitamin. I don't eat sweets for a month, I don't drink juices, I eat vegetables and fruits. Is it a problem and fruit? Did you have a similar problem and balanced your hormones. Reading and browsing the internet, I was diagnosed with hirsutism, which scared me a lot. I'm 163cm and 50 Ibs.

@@yoursoul4589 research the carnivore diet. I was never diagnosed with pcos but I had all the symptoms. In July 2019 I was 5'2" at 210lb. No period for a year. I had excess facial hair and body hair that wasn't normal for me. And very bad painful deep cyst-like acne. I started the keto diet and got my period back within 2 weeks eating clean keto. I tried to add sugar substitutes like stevia into my diet and the symptoms came back. I have been doing keto carnivore diet for a couple months now and feel great. Skin is clear. It's like the facial and body hair just shed. I just have normal light peach fuzz. And my hairline is improving because I see a ton of baby hairs as if I was taking prenatal vitamins but I'm not take any supplements. I don't eat any fruits or vegetables. I only eat meats, salt and drink water. It's so different and was very difficult to cut out all sugars and carbs. I'm down 36 lbs and still have more to lose but this was the kindest thing I've ever done for myself. Try the carnivore diet, it may work for you too.

@@khushboogulati2130 well I first noticed the shedding on my arms after my showers and I would towel dry. Not saying it will work the same for everyone but for me, changing my diet helped balanced my hormones.

Yara Hejaz Yes unfortunately laser made my facial hair worse. Electrolysis worked better for me. For facial hair I recommend electrolysis

@Yara Hejaz try changing your diet. I cut out sugar and carbs. Sugar is addictive and destroys your thyroid imbalancing hormones. Carbs just turns into sugar in the body. Not an easy task to do but if you can stay away from the sugar and carbs, your symptoms will improve. I tried this, and all my symptoms improved but as soon as I messed with sugar and carbs again, they all came back. So definitely have to stay away from the sugar and carbs.

Yes because electrolysis treats one hair at a time it will take too long for body areas I want done. Laser covers a larger area and is quicker.

Laser (actual laser such as Alexandrite, Diode or YAG depending on your skin tone) is effective on the body but if you have PCOS the results will need to be maintained by having touch up sessions a couple times a year. I personally don’t recommend laser for facial hair even if you don’t have PCOS unless the hair is everywhere. Otherwise there is a risk of it getting worse. Whether people want to take that risk is up to them. I personally lean towards Electrolysis for facial hair. I hope that makes sense.
