Bodycam: Jodi Hildebrandt Cries as Cops Search Her Home for Ruby Franke's Kids

Utah police showed up at Jodi Hildebrandt’s home on August 30, 2023, and found Ruby Franke’s daughter hiding inside a bathroom closet. During the search of Hildebrandt’s home, Jodi remained outside with an officer and told them that the police presence must have scared her Airbnb guests. Before police showed up, another one of Franke’s children escaped from the home and went to a neighbor’s house asking for food and water.

The boy truly saved himself and his sister. Apparently, Jodi was going to sell the house and buy a large plot of land far out in the countryside in order to take the punishments to a higher level, undisturbed. Not sure if he knew this might happen. The children would not have survived that. They would not have survived much more of what they were already going through, actually. Such a brave boy. Bless those two children, as well as Jodis’s previous victims. How their own mom could agree to all this is bizarre and evil. 💔

It took them 4 hours to coax that little girl out of the closet. She was terrified to touch the food they brought her. The physical wounds might be healed by now but the mental wounds will be with them for a life time. The things some people do that they say are in the name of their religion are truly abhorrent. The house tells us a lot about her, doesn't it. The furnishings are all totally generic and bland. There isn't a single personal item to be seen. And so books...I always find homes with no books to be very sinister. She has nothing to indicate she is alive. This is the home of a completely blank person. Joyless, blank, but wanted it to be BIG. Wanted the appearance of someplace Costly. It is a house of horrors. Like Bluebeard's castle, with the hidden room where the bloodied bodies are kept.
