Saw the burning too on a flight out of Singapore May last year; heard it's a sign of inefficiencies/excessive residue (that have to be burnt off IIRC) in the oil refining process. 10:35 is what Singapore gets being one of the world's busiest container ports - an iconic sight together with the city state's both tall & sprawled suburban skyline, seen from planes taking off & landing here

I always spot afr 256 CDG to Singapore british airways a380 qantas a380 LHR to singapore,Singapore 777 from LHR to Singapore a350 EWR to Singapore KLM 777 Amsterdam to Singapore they all follow almost same route every day at 35 to 41 thousand feet amazing to see one of the pilot who fly up above from my head

Those are actually the runway centreline lights which are embedded in the runway itself. Pilots have to maintain centreline during takeoff, landing and taxi and that's just the sound of the nose gear hitting the runway lights.

Encore une belle vidéo vue coté gauche :) . Salut Guillaume. Meme si la prise de vue est difficile de nuit, on arrive a suivre la piste, les taxi , et ça mets en valeur le "tableau de bord". Mais je n'arrive pas a comprendre pourquoi vous gardez l'avion au décollage sur les plots lumineux de la piste, qui engendre des chocs a chaque passage du train avant sur un plot. Ce n'est pas possible de se "décaler" un peu de l'axe de piste pour éviter de rouler sur les plots ? Autre chose: A quoi sert la mise a zéro du chrono lors du décollage, juste avant l'application de la poussée? Est ce que ça sert a calculer le temps de vol réel sans prise en compte des mouvements sur le terrain ? Encore une vidéo de qualité, merci Guillaume pour ce nouveau partage :)
Je l'essaie en français: dans le cas d'une perte du moteur, on a de la poussée asymmétrique et on a besoin de toute la largeur de la piste, donc il n'est pas recommandé de diverger trop loin de la center line.

Because the plane is moving slowly forward whilst the landing plane came into view. Unlike the other landing plane coming in view at 06:51 when our plane is stationary.
Tes vidéos prennent un tout autre sens après avoir fait la MCC, c'est vraiment très bien de montrer les procédures en entier, ça permet de se rafraichir la mémoire et de garder tout ça en tête... en attendant d'avoir un cockpit à mon tour :)
