This comment is how i found out the whole royal family died from a boeing crash because I didnt watch the video i just opened it and paused it so glizzy atriocizzy doesnt get any ad revenue from me 😭
This is why people believe the matrix exist, companies do shit like this and we're like "legally there's nothing to go on so we can't punish them". That or the gillizzys being to big and perilous muscoils.
Powerful people doing powerful things is just the real world, not the matrix. Corporations did way worse before worker rights. Google the Pinkertons union busting
My issue with the Boeing bit is people acting like him dying covers up some safety issue he was about to testify to, which is untrue AFAICT. The current case is ONLY the retaliation for whistleblowing, all of the testimony about the actual safety issue was done years ago. Yes this is still a big deal and it is shit that this happened, especially since retaliation obviously creates a dangerous culture around speaking up, and Boeing better buckle up for a suit about the level of stress they put him through for this to have happened. But people keep spreading misinformation as if this is covering up some safety problem at Boeing that he was just about to testify about.
this is fair and true - but obviously the costs could be extreme on Boeing's end for his upcoming trial in July. The judge had asked Boeing to find the records of all complaints made by other employees / any adverse actions taken against them in response to reports of safety or quality. He's a star witness, non-suicidal, in good health/spirits (according to his Lawyers/Friends/Family) - due for possibly a big payout from Boeing based on retaliation from this culture of "don't speak up", that would set a HUGE precedent for Boeing going forward as there is no chance he's the only person they've punished for speaking out. In that environment, his death is highly suspicious and the MAIN beneficiary is Boeing as now "It’s unclear where the case now stands."
The optimist in me hopes that Boeing isn't *really* a beneficiary, since in addition to the estate continuing the current suit, the family surviving him will have a very good case for wrongful death (or something along those lines), not to mention the extremely bad PR. But like you mentioned, it's entirely possible it fizzles out now that the main witness is gone. The level of news coverage makes it feel like it would be near impossible for these cases to just disappear, but also the internet forgets major stories every week, let alone over the long time of court cases....
@@AtriocClips I dont really get how Boeing is a main beneficiary of anything tbh. I can't see the reasoning behind a corporate assassination of a witness who had already spilled the beans 5 years ago during an already existing PR firestorm at a time when they are under the most public and governmental scrutiny of any company in the entire country. Not to mention, the case he was in the middle of depositions for was his appeal against a case Boeing had already won in a lower court, meaning the information he was giving was not new. Below the surface suspicions none of this really makes sense outside of video game logic. All they would've accomplished by killing him is covering up nothing, sabotaging themselves in a case they would probably win anyways, and drawing UNBELIEVABLE attention to themselves when they're already flooded with feds.

@@scottb.3905 I am confused about what you are saying. Generally you don't give new depositions at appeal. Discovery only happens at trial. I would need a lot more information than to just take your word that " there was no new information" If there was no new information what is the reason for him giving another deposition. Also not really sure why you are saying this doesn't benefit Boeing in the case. In any case, the defendant is always the main beneficiary when the star witness for the prosecution dies. That isn't video game logic. That is real world logic. That is why we have Witness Protection Program. This also creates a massive chilling effect on other people coming forward which is another massive benefit to Boeing. That incentive combined with the fact that there is ZERO evidence of him being suicidal makes the whole thing highly suspect.
A lot of people are talking about the Apex Legends hacking incident and spreading misinformation... because everyone online is an "expert" even if they no nothing about the topic. Pirate Software did an entire live investigation of the issue. His conclusion was that most likely the hacker only has access to server side RCE which is far different from accessing RCE to every PC out there. He said it's far more likely the person compromised an employee's machine which is how they can affect the server the way they do. He said it's most likely that the people hacked had their computer compromised as well. Basically he said that it's safest to uninstall Apex and wait for more information but it's very unlikely that this is going to be a doomsday RCE scenario like everyone is saying. To be that it would require a lot more complexity and would require serious vulnerabilities in their system. He raised a good point... if they had that type of access why would they limit it to only Apex Legends when Easy Anti-Cheat has like a million games. Why didn't they hack more players too? It's because what they can do is limited. He's banned over 2M hackers, hacked power plants for the US government, and worked as basically a corporate hacker for about 20 years. So he's 100% an expert on this issue. I'll take his conclusions over random people on the internet that have no idea what they're talking about.
I can only gain access to my bank account with my phone using fingerprint scan or by scanning a QR code on my phone to access it on PC, alternatively I log in on the PC and ok it with the app to authenticate
where was Big A on March 9th? oddly suspicious his whereabouts were unknown in his off hours and low and behold a man turns up dead. Pretty weird as well his stream was shorter than the average one on that saturday.
Atrios should look at the video that pirate software put out looking at the apex situation. It’s super interesting and it looks like they found the IP where the hacker was sending their attack from.
i loved playing league watching characters like akali and katarina get shit like -5% armor pen one patch only to get it reversed next patch with movement speed and base damage buffs to match, all the while the devs ignore the actually underwhelming champs and are somehow developing new champs to water down the pool even more! it is in my belief that league is impossible to balance anymore there are just too many champs with too many interactions and too many items for riot to manage you would actually need a couple people per champ at this point to cover all the cross interactions between items other champs different game modes and different runes.
Saying stuff like you need to constantly keep up with the meta is super cope. Below maybe the top 0.05% of players you can succeed with anything, and even at the highest of levels unconventional picks can still do well. Sure, if you dont play for a while and come back your strategies will be outdated, and the game changes drastically every season, but the core of the game is still the same. All you need to do is put in a bit of effort and you can easily catch back up.
Whoever edited this video, can I make some suggestions? I don't know if others agree but the comments staying up doesn't feel normal to me. I think you'd be fine to remove the comments after maybe 7-10 seconds. Just wanna give thoughts, do what you want with that suggestion.
I enjoy the content sometimes, but his economic takes can be so frustratingly lacking in complexity. In regards to the Japan wage increases, he just goes directly to a wage-price-spiral without considering any other factor. 1. Productivity Increases 2. Rate of profit... I could go on. Its barely even classical economics. Honestly, even using the spiral term like this is nothing but copying the worst of the industry funded think tanks, miss me with this basic propaganda.
@@LordTenthyes. Because this (and Im specifically talking about his "analysis" of the state of Japanese inflation and its overall economy here, not his overall output) is imho worse than not bringing it up at all because he just ends up repeating an outdated talking point.
@@crisc0citysorry, but dont have any good English language recommendations, didnt learn my basic econ in this tongue, so no experience with this. Just some more demoralizing advice: Economics struggles with a lot of entrenched propagandistic "experts" so its difficult to discern good sources for a basic education on the topic, Id be very careful who to trust.
