Everybody talkin bout the boiling water on natural hair... like water boils at a mere 212F most of yall talkin most likely flat iron or curl your hair at 350- 400F so chill.
Super cute, for a while now a lot of women have been wearing they're braids straight rather than crimped or crinkled, this takes me back to the early-mid 2000's bomb af Neiicey
Beautiful Braided Style. It is a clever variation on the Bohemian Goddess Braids. Your friend did a great job. Very Pretty. Thank You for taking the time to make this video.
Literally been doing this method in my hair since I was 10... I'm about to be 33 this month lol. It's crazy the simple things we did in the past always come back as "new" and "trending". Love this look, you looked amazing on vacay!!
I'm so glad you showed this!!! Takes me back to when I used to get box braids...poetic Justice days 😜✌ Bondz is a good friend to do that for you.... I know it used to be an all day process for me and my home girl....😌
I like the look of goddess braids, but didn’t want to have to deal with all that feeding in of the curly hair in random places = too much work for me! But this a great shortcut to get the same type of effect. Def going to try it now, tfs!!!! Btw the way these look beautiful on you and I love the blonde highlights! 😍😍😍
So, I had to comment and say thanks so much for the style idea. I did it. Mine are much shorter and one color, but so very very lovely. I love this style. You have rekindled my love for individual braids. Blessings!! Btw, I used EZ braiding hair.
Bondz = The way she was braiding Ur hair= U can see that she has the passion for what she's doing= And that's an A+ = That way whenever she does a braids hairstyle on anyone's hair = Her work is her 100% = The braid hairstyle look gorgeous on U = I absolutely love it= Great job Bondz
Razhanee Dejoie I agree I thought I had missed something lol I did my daughters hair like this for the last 10 years ha ha I was like I need to check out this bohemian goddess thingy lol
bondzisdatgirl you do wonderful work...too bad you don’t live in the states I’m sure everyone here would be looking to get their hair done here...but maybe you can come visit when Neiicey moves here eventually. I love you alls bonds true friends all of you girls are 💞
I used to do this hairstyle all the time when I take down my Fulani braids I'm definitely going back to these but leave some pieces straight instead of curly I used to do my whole head curly and braid it all the way down but not this time around great video!
Looking good as always Naturalneiicey...I loved it Bryan said “the bondz special” lol nice to have protective styles from time to time and after 6-7 hours getting it done I would keep mines in longer than a month! The blonde touches look good too
I've been wanting to change up my look, came up with something like this look sitting at work today. Got off, came to YT, and here it is! Thank you for this. Great Style!
You just answered one of my questions about these styles.....if you can have long natural hair and do them. And I'm so glad the answer is yes girl!!!!!!!! *runs off to get faux dreads done*
This is gorgeousssss!!! I'm thinking about doing this style instead of just regular box braids and I'm just wondering since you do have the ends loose/unbraided, did they not get matted with it being synthetic hair and all? Also, how did you sleep with them/wrap them up? I'm just worried about the loose wave matting & want to maintain them for longevity
Bondz luv ur tats their so neat. Wow girl all that hair my hands woulda been tired lol. Ughh i need soemone to teach me this 😣😣. Looks great. I keep my braids b for a long time at least 2 an a half months tops
So she braided those strands that you didnt put up into a bigger braid (the ones you braided to get the wave) to the end of the hair strand or also left the last part of it non braided?
Latosha Williams it will cause some breakage in areas where her hair might have been weak. It is never a good idea to put boiling hot water on your hair. I'm a licensed cosmetologist who specializes in natural hair and just thought you should recieve an answer from a professional
Hi Neiicey, may I ask what happens when this style gets wet say in the shower or while swimming? Do the curls leave? Does the hair come undone? I need a braid style I can swim with , then wash afterwards. Thank you and the style looks great on you!
Wow your hair looks good. I just did box braids for the first time and it took 4 hours but 6 packs of hair. Me and you are the same texture and hair length. Maybe I will try this next time
I've never had fake hair before, but I've always wanted to try box braids, my natural hair shrunken is about at my shoulders right now and I'm used to having long hair and I'm thinking about some natural clip ins but that world is new to me. Next time I go to Texas im going to see what I can find cause I want to see it before I buy it.
Can you take a strand out the braid, rod it then dip it to make it look like free tress hair or would that knot up within one week like the freetress hair too?
Your hair looks amazing, Neiicey! Def will be trying these. Was wondering did you wash your hair frequently and/or swim with these in? Did you have any issues with the crimpy pieces getting tangled/matted?
