This is a three-part Bone Marrow Cleanse qigong practice. It's a wonderful practice for anyone wishing to bring greater vitality and energy into the body and spirit. Enjoy!
Truly wonderful. I am getting over the flu, and was feeling quite down about it. I started doing this practice, and tears were coming from my eyes. It makes me wonder what meridians are connected to those channels (maybe heart opening?). Thank you for this cleansing practice.
youtube now allows one to slow down ... at 0.5 speed the exercise takes 15 min I have done this slow down for learning and now practice on my own at about .5 It has intensified the feeling of qi very nice .. for many qi gong a nice slow practice is nice ... oh I don't always do the slow version currently I am alternating slow and normal speed practice Thanks for this video ... very nice.
I follow and really love all your videos. You are my favourite qigong teacher and such a brilliant performer. Thanks very much for sharing your wisdom with us! :)
Mimi, Thank you for your peaceful, delicate, beauty. I love all your videos. You are such a wonderful performer. Thank you. It is such a wonderful experience watching you.
Thank you. I'm very encouraged by your manner. It is clear your beauty is very close to the surface. This is becoming a regular morning routine after yoga and before meditation and I thank you for that.
Beautiful scenery and well executed. This is a practice from Ken Cohen's qigong. It's in his book The Way of Qigong and he also teaches it on a video called Qigong: Traditional Chinese Exercises for Healing Body, Mind, and Spirit. Just thought it worth mentioning the source of this particular set.
You are a wonderful human being, thank you for your sharing this practice. It makes me feels whole when ever i practice. Thank you , a million times over and over again :)
Great stuff I do your Qi gong just before my meditation, pre meditation before meditation lol. I understand how I'm important it is to maintain a high degree of chi in order to do spiritual work. I'm headed towards TCM school one day so its important to have a high degree of Qi. thank you for posting these videos and helping many heal. Hetepu. (Peace)
Thank you very much for sharing all these amazing exercises! I could survive the pandemic thanks to the qi gong exercises you taught us here on youtube and the auriculotherapy I could do myself myself thanks to a book my sister in law gave me! 谢谢老师!👍🙏😊
One of the best if not the best company speech, description for this excercise - THANK YOU for sharing. I funnily do teach in a very similar way - mayve this teacher has influenced me strongly 🙂 or there is this way to just be. Xie Xie
You are simply the best. Love all of your videos. Your recent water practice was so beautiful. I have been doing your videos everyday for about a week, and I feel like a new person. Thank you so much..
@@MimiKuoDeemer Thank you again Mimi. Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia is something that can’t be cured. I’ll always have it, but may eventually need treatment to curb the activity of parasitic B-Lymphocytes which steal oxygen and nutrition from the red and white blood cells and platelets. I’m hopeful that Qigong Bone Marrow Cleansing will keep those B cells at bay. I do this along with 8 Brocades, Element practices and tapping along meridians. And of course working with my hematologist/oncologist. He’s great, as are you!
how are you getting on with your recovery from CLL, Brian? I am doing this practice for similar reasons and intending to heal my platelet production from the Bone Marrow
@Martin Julich, I will have a blood draw at the end of November, until then no news, watch and wait. I’m hoping to stabilize or at least slow down the production of B-lymphocytes. There is no cure for CLL. I’ll keep you posted. I too am focusing on bone marrow cleansing.
@@briancook3478 keep on exploring this:) My last platelet count was down to 335, and that was with plenty Qigong and I have been reducing my Chemo that regulates the platelet production. Was on 0.5g every other day and now down to 1.5g per week and aiming for complete healing even if WM says it cannot be done. I trust it can be. There are some herbs out there that can help like Ganoderma....
Love all your videos. I've been practicing Fragrant Xiang Qigong for 4 months (love it). But can you tell me please, what distinguishes one Qigong form from another? For example, why is this form a "marrow cleanser"? Truly appreciate all your work. TY
Hi Mimi. First of all this is beautiful. Thank you for posting it. I just stumbled on your video while I search for more Qi Gong movements to learn to supplement the Ping Shuai Gong exercise. Can you please give me a guide on how my breathing should be on the second part? As each hand raises am I inhaling... and then exhaling as I wash down? Thank you so much for your help. =)
Hi Rasmus, I'm not quite sure without being there to see how you're doing the practice, but perhaps experiment with the tilt of your pelvis to ensure your back does not hurt, and relax your jaw? Hope that helps!
muito obrigado Mimi ! thank you .. Im an Aikido and Chi Gong practitioner for more than 10 years ..Bone marrow cleansing Ch iGong is truly a genius physiological healing practice of the ancient Chi Gong masters .. When do you think is it best done ? is night time or full moon ? how many times ? can Bone marrow cleansing be practiced every day or only if needed .. ? Again, much obliged ..
I have noticed how gravity pulls the blood down through the arms or bones towards the feet as the arms come up toward the sky and rises backup as the arms come down meeting a short equilibrium point then as the arms lower the blood rises. So, there are physics interplay here. So, the blood is being gradually pushed through the body in both directions. This is real. I feel the flow of blood coursing through the body. I am pretty sure this can be down upside down also cleansing the lower body more.
Thank you so much Mimi. Loved every bit of your video. One question: I am a fire dragon according to Chinese numerology. Is there any specific Qigong in sync with my natal chart that can benefit me holistically? Thank you so much Mimi. Warm Regards.
Women should place the right hand on top when gathering energy into dan tian. I'm sure you are aware of this already. What a mysterious voice you've got there. I can certainly see people enjoying your videos. All the best on your Way.
I see so its mainly visualisation and energy control. I know breathig into any part of the body can do wonders also the , yogis have very oimportant practice called bone breathibg. I guess this must work, I am definetly going to try iy
First of all I would like to thank you for your teachings. What are the benefits of this Qigong and where I could find more information about how it works. Thank you in advanced. Kepa
Hi Mimi, thanks for the useful video. May I ask how the breathing should be when moving the hands. Is it breath in when going up and then out when going down? Thank you in advance for your time.
It would mean the world to me if you could make a video about this question concerning the cleansed marrow & motionless qigong. Here is my question, "After cleansing the bone marrow, is there a correct way to funnel chi directly from the dan tien, into the marrow that enters the main 5 joint areas (neck, arms & legs that meet at the torso)? Your advice is needed. Please consider my request with much thought.
So this really cleanses the marrow in our bones or is this more like an introduction to the bone marrow washing exercise? Also is there anything to read or watch on the effect this exercise has on people with arthritis? Any help to either question would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, it's called a bone marrow cleanse, but that is a translation offered by Kenneth Cohen. Like much of qigong, it works strongly with visualization and intention (in Chinese, the yi) to move and bring greater health to the qi -- this time inside the marrow of the bones, but also through the body. Kenneth Cohen's book is quite good, I would recommend it! It's called "The Way of Qigong." Slow, circular movements are also considered very therapeutic in general for arthritis, as it can stimulate synovial fluid in the joints. Hope that helps!
Mimi Kuo-Deemer Thank you so much. I started practicing to teach my girlfriend who suffers from rheumatoid arthritis. I have practiced BaGua, Taichi and Xing Yi for years and didn't understand why this exercise is better for the bone marrow over other Qigong exercises. But I think with more practice, I will soon understand. Thank you for the book title, and the explanation of stimulating synovial fluids of the joints. Much appreciated.
+Abraham Williams Thank you Abraham, I only have a yoga dvd at the moment, it's on my website at www.mkdeemer.com/dvds.html. Hopefully I'll do a qigong dvd someday though! In the meantime thanks for watching!
I have a question about the back arm. When it goes to the back is the palm touching the MingMen or is it the dorsal side of the hand that touches? Thanks
