After we launched the Ford Raptor videos, we received a lot of love from our viewers through comments, shares, and purchases from our store. One customer had a creative idea to send us his gear and have us pre-wire the amplifier rack for him. We kinda kept this option a secret due to the time it takes to wire these up properly, but it is something we offer to those that want a "plug & play" option. 2019 Ford Raptor w/B&O full system. Do you have to use the ZEN in this video or can I mount a LC7i LOC to your amp ram and use instead? Not sure if I will retain all the functionality and if that LC7i will still work. Thanks in advance for the answer. LOVE LOVE LOVE the videos/content you guys produce!

Thanks Joseph.. So ZEN is the only option and no need for a LC7i. If you have questions on your truck, we can answer them in detail for you. Give us a call or send us a email. @@Richardk1976 When we are limited on space, we use Audiomobile Subwoofers. They provide the sound quality and low-end response we look for at our shop. We don't have an enclosure made to ship, but I believe we fit 2 x 10" Audiomobile EVO or GTS series subwoofers on 500w-800wrms on the pair. I know several online places sell the enclosure that fits, but depending on the airspace will depend on the subwoofer/performance. If you can get 0.4 to 0.6 sealed, then Audiomobile is the only choice for a 10". IF you have 0.75+ cuft, then most of your subwoofer choices open up to 99% of 10-inch subs on the market. Remember, the enclosure, the air volume is equally as the subwoofer. They work as ONE and have to be matched for good performance.

@soundsgoodstereo. Forgive my ignorance. But do you reuse the factory wiring for the speakers from the amp location to the speaker locations? Just crimp on the bullet connectors to factory wire and thus run factory wiring between new amp and new speakers? Looking at getting a full stealth kit and speaker replacement for my f150 and love how clean y'all make everything

Where exactly do you connect power to ZEN module after you cut off factory plug, and where does the remote wire from the ZEN go? Thanks. Trying to understand power turn on distribution to ZEN DSP & Amps.

Zen power from the factory amplifier connector and the ground is derived from the front/rear power ground that we run. We do not recommend using the factory amplifier ground for the ZEN. The remote is a remote OUT, to that feeds into a relay which then feeds the electronics.

Around minute 12, how is it so important to get a sub mili Ohm ground with a Zen module who's input signal is digital and that's just connected via optical cable to the processor (so electrically isolated from the amplifier). I don't understand...

It’s the communication from the ZEN to the factory stereo via Canbus + Zen. If you do not provide a under 1-ohm ground, you will have nothing but issues. The factory ground point and wiring is average 3-ohm +.

Great build! For the Zen processors I noticed its 2018 and up. I can’t decided whether to replaced my headunit or find a processing unit that would be good and not lose any audio performance. What would you guys recommend? I already have a headunit picked up just can’t decided a counter with a processing unit

That's always a tough answer. At the end of the day, you can make your factory sound amazing, if it is done the right way. Aftermarket is a cheater way to get the outputs you want, but it's not a valid reason if your wanting better sound. if you have the B&O system, the Zen module will sound better than most aftermarket stereos.

Sounds Good Stereo I do not have the B&O system, I just have the 8” screen with 7 speaker s, no sub. I already have the subs picked out, and speakers but I’m gonna try to hear them in person first. I thought about keeping stock HU and using the LC7I but I was told it wouldn’t sound as good as an Aftermarket unit using RCA’s
