That double barreled shotgun blast in Road Warrior is one of the most thrilling shots in cinema history for me. The tension, the amazing Brian May soundtrack roaring away in growing crescendo until the final release of two 12 gauge shotgun shells through the windshield, enacting vengeance upon Max's enemies for having killed his "friends" during the chase. It's just pure brilliance.

most iconic scene with a double shotty is in Evil Dead 2. yyou cannot replicate the badassery of cutting your possessed hand off, affixing a homelite super XL on your hand and sawing down your shotgun to a shortened length like Evil Dead did

What about the Punisher? Specifically 2004 Thomas Jane Punisher. I think in the 2008 Punisher war zone, the actor used one, but I know for sure Jane used one in the 2004 Punisher.

Can’t movie make death more realistic when you get shot with a shotgun you don’t fly backwards you get shot and a tiny bit of force pushes you a few cm backwards and then depending where hit you would rather full on ragdoll if in the head of somewhere fatal or if hit in a survivable area you clench up and fall over and when you are on the floor you just ragdoll we need more movies that are realistic like this

That just a movie effect to show or let the viewer think „what a powerful weapon“…but I real life, you dont fly like a train hits you…boom and you collapse…
