While this is probably the most accurate one, unless Tobias confessed, either verbally or written, his intention to shoot Thelma instead of Massa, even this version is pretty suspect. Weapons from the late 1800s were pretty accurate. The Wentworth rifle was capable of sub-minute of angle accuaracy at 1800 yards. That was one of the reasons why the American Cvil War was a bloody as it was, rifles became something that every soldier had and they still fought fought like they did centuries prior.
