I truly believe he has become THE funniest comedian there's ever been, the array of characters and thought in using comedy to highlight what's wrong with people in our world, a true genius!
@@ajvindiesel8517 Yes. Proof of what you are saying: The helicopter scene with the tourist couple in The Dictator. Truly one of THE most comic genius gut-bust funny scenes devised in comic film history. Uncontrollable lol every time I revisit it. BOOM!
0 to 60 in under 10 seconds. 60 to light-speed in under two minutes. Sasha has the ability to turn the boundaries into rubber-bands and gently push them with his words that convert from comedy to a clear message. Well done. Oh, and that decision to have the album uploaded to all the iphone's will haunt Bono forever :)
Thanks for uploading this. A little disappointed that they removed parts of his speech where he said he has to stop looking at the First Lady before he gets a “Bono” and that he hopes the president enjoys his voice because he wants to pleasure him with his mouth… but I guess it was just too “good” for TV. I wonder what else he said that didn’t make it on TV.
Probably because this was taped back in November, and the lame networks had to remove anything beyond a pg-13 rating. hahaha That would have been hilarious to hear, too!
Tried watching speeches by Sean Penn, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon. Even tried watching Eddie Vedder sing a tribute song. All painful. All embarrassing. Didn't make it past 23 seconds. Then Borat hit the stage. Very niiiiice!!! #KennedyCenterHonors
@@nicholasemerson9852 I thought so too, until I realised that nothing he does is without a reason. The Irish are the world's biggest anti-Semites. I think that he was stuffing it to them, under the guise of the jester.
Hello Steve, thank you for putting Borat on RU-vid. I watched the awards show lastnight & felt a pride in this country & some of its people that l haven't felt in a while. I think a lot of us were laughing uncontrollably while Borat was on. I had forgotten how funny he is & he was the perfect comic relief for the serious tone of that program. I hadn't laughed that hard in quite a long time & when he started playing that keyboard, l lost it. Thanks
@@PeterKKraus Well, Peter K. Kraus, thank you for putting me in my place. And your ego & need to reprimand other people for having feelings that you might not understand or be capable of, might be "sin" as well. Did you ever consider that?
Borat gets me emotionally wound up with his comedy. I feel something bad is going to happen as he does his stuff. When he started singing 'With or Without Jews' I held my breath, knowing most of the audience he was singing to were probably Jewish. And no one would laugh. Yet, everyone did, even U2. Sasha is incredible are pushing society's sensitive buttons so expertly, and without fear. No one addresses 'the elephant in the room' as wonderfully and artfully as he does. We all need more laughter in our life living in this crazy world. Well done Sasha!
Sacha Baron Cohen comes from a very influential family of Jewish origin based in UK, Brazil and Israel. He's a Cambridge, Christ College graduate in History with focus on Anti-Semitism! Dude's way intelligent for our senses to even comprehend.
@@karthikvadloori And he is a genius for putting the antisemitism into his comedy in such a way that it actually makes people stop and think about how bad it is, but at the same time makes them chuckle. He's kinda like a George Carlin who spits the truth but adds a comedy twist to soften the blow.
There’s something extremely seedy about awards and the likes… people that have too much money giving other people with too much money more money… socialism for the rich etc. What’s happened to the world. Well folk finally got that all along we were bamboozled… from the beginning of time…
The only thing I think of with Bono is that SouthPark episode. Type in "Bono yeah yeah yeah yeaah" If you haven't seen it, look it up. It summarizes that guy perfectly.
He should have been President instead of Trump but the crazy dems put up Hilary for a suicide mission, so he became President after Trump...hard to watch, it is elder abuse by a nation.
please elaborate why , because he figts for freedom , fights against poverty , is informing people about injustice and repression and informs people about it at the concerts, because he never had a scandal (personal or bussines) , because hes wiser and grounded more than 90% of rockstars, because hes the man with the white flag for 40 years, because he and his wife Ali are constantly helping Africa ,... U2 is together for more than 40 years without changing the lineup - the only huge band to do so ,if Bono was such a prick as you say ,do you think that they would last that long? ... please elaborate why, Im really curious ... and this skit wasnt even funny , a bit amusing maybe - it looks like Borat is running out of ideas...for funny check out Bill Burr, Norm Macdonald, Carlin , Hicks , Steven Wright ,... this is just talking truth with funny accent , if he would talk normal all of this would be cringe and rude ( in today snowflake standards )...cheers
Used to really love their songs...well, their music is great. However, Bono and the guy next to him really are disgusting...and they give a crap about ordinary African people...that's my opinion anyway.
I can't understand... why they speak Polish in Kazakhstan? Maybe because Stalin exiled tens of thousands of Poles, among others, to Kazakhstan... Or maybe it's just "The World According to Borat"?
Funny thing is everyone recognizes the Edge because of the stupid cap and Bono because of the ridiculous tinted glasses. But nobody could pick out the other 2.
Thanks so much for uploading!!!!! Would it be possible if you could upload more clips or better yet the the whole footage of the event. I’ve been dying to see the Awards since yesterday - I can’t watch if since I live back here in the U.K. . Many thanks again ❤
"Jak się masz" at the beggining means in Polish:"How are you". Letter from the prime minister of Kazachstan:"Dziękuję za interesującą lekcję, nie mogłem zrobić matematykę domową" is in polish language to and means (more-less, becouse is not gamaticly corect): "Thank you for interesting lesson i could not do home mathematic (means:homework,)". I heard, that Cohen used polish language in "Borat" becouse he has some Polish friends. It's strange to hear it for me, as a Polish.
Sean Penn coming back like "wow, can you BELIEVE what he just did?!" This was so toothless compared to what Cohen is capable of, let Gervais into his brain with Cohen's own character and comedic genius, none of this clapter bs.
Just the other day I made another review of "Dictator". That scene with signing Wadiyan Constitution where former Alison Burgers compares dictatorship preferences for USA hits the score these days!
@@GTE_Channel yes but it says a lot about Commie Trump that he's such a crybaby that he never attended Kennedy Honors for fear that people would make fun of him 🤣
The beginning is in Polish „jak się masz” means „how are you”. The message he pulled out of his pocket is in Polish too. He says „thank you for an interesting lesson” and then gibberish.
